The Ten Step Plan project in Tanzania was the first formal application of the Ten Step Plan for Safer Road Infrastructure and was jointly funded by the GRSF and the UN Road Safety Fund (UNRSF) and involved the Government of Tanzania including through the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) and the Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA), the World Bank/GRSF and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), International Road Federation (IRF), Tanzania Roads Association (TARA), World Road Association (PIARC), International Road Assessment Program (iRAP), research institutions, NGOs and industry stakeholders. Th project was active during 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

This dashboard was developed as part of the iRAP Impact Evaluation the UNRSF Ten Step Plan for Safer Road Infrastructure in Improving the Safety Performance of WB’s Projects project, funded by UK Aid through the GRSF.
