Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world.

Today we are celebrating International Women’s Day 2021. The theme this year celebrates the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Female leadership during this time is helping create a world free of high-risk roads. For International Women’s Day, iRAP is celebrating the significant role female leadership in this changing world.

Women leaders and women’s organizations have demonstrated their skills, knowledge and networks to effectively lead in COVID-19 response and recovery efforts. Today there is more acceptance than ever before that women bring different experiences, perspectives and skills to the table, and make irreplaceable contributions to decisions, policies and laws that work better for all. Did you know that over half of the iRAP team are women?  For International Women’s Day, we got together to bring you this video on what we love about working for iRAP, discussing the year that was and what we hope for in the future. Happy International Women’s Day 2021! #IWD2020 #sheRAP
