“Cities for and with Children and Youth: Ideas to Inspire Action” is a part of the Research Series: “Cities for Children and Youth,” published by the Global Alliance – Cities4Children. This comprehensive publication comprises eight guides that delve into various aspects of children’s lives in urban areas, offering evidence-based insights and innovative ideas to inspire actionable change.

As an alliance member of the Global Alliance – Cities4Children, iRAP has contributed significantly to the development of “Guide 1. Safe and Active Journeys to School.” In this guide, iRAP’s Star Rating for Schools (SR4S) emerges as a recommended evidence-based tool to advocate for safer school infrastructure, ensuring the safety and promoting the active journeys of children and youth to their schools. Through collaborative efforts and expertise, iRAP continues to champion initiatives aimed at creating safer and more supportive urban environments for the well-being of children and young people globally.
