It was fantastic to be a part of the ITF Summit in May this year, seeing and reconnecting with old and new friends from all over the world.

Our key focusses during the event were to support member countries to eliminate high-risk roads, empower transport safety insights through shared data, and financing equitable, green and safe road infrastructure world-wide and in Europe.

The 2023 Annual Summit of the International Transport Forum (ITF), took place in Leipzig, Germany, from 24 to 26 May, under the Presidency of the United Kingdom.

The Summit of the International Transport Forum is the largest gathering of transport ministers and the world’s premier transport policy event.

Themed Transport Enabling Sustainable Economies, the 2023 edition under the Presidency of the United Kingdom brought more than 1 200 participants from over 80 countries and 63 government delegations to Leipzig, Germany, from 24 to 26 May 2023.
