iRAP has a strategic focus to support global and national partners to eliminate high-risk roads in the regions – Africa, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and North America. Our Safer Journeys Leads are working in close collaboration with partners to this end.

iRAP’s Regional Event Series comprises in-person conferences, workshops and online webinars focussed on the unique challenges and opportunities for each region to improve road infrastructure safety, policies and partnerships with the goal of halving road deaths and serious injuries by 2030.

Safer Roads for Latin America and the Caribbean 2024

iRAP, together with the Aleatica Foundation for Road Safety, are jointly organizing the Workshop “Safer Roads for Latin America and the Caribbean: Saving Lives by 2030” from 27-28 November in Mexico City.

More than 60 professionals from the public and private sectors, multilateral banking, NGOs and iRAP partners in Latin America and the Caribbean will meet in a high-level interactive dialogue on the challenges and perspectives of the region to achieve the objectives of the Second Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030, focused on the safe infrastructure pillar.
