The United Nations (UN) have adopted targets that include Star Ratings. iRAP assessments are an internationally recognised approach to managing road safety risk and saving lives, and road agencies in more than 100 countries have used iRAP assessments.

To help you improve your coding skills to perform Star Rating assessments, iRAP offers this interactive online course with the following content:

• The coding manual and principles
• Coding a segment of road together
• Coding assignment and reviews
• Tips for coding techniques and quality assurance
• Questions and Answers.

This course was recorded during the live webinar sessions in February 2020. It has two parts, including pre-reading materials, 60-minute videos, presentation and assignments. The certificate will be provided upon all the assignments completion.

Important note: This is an advanced coding course. Participants will ideally have had some experience with coding prior to this course.
