#RAPKnowledgeLive sessions are held monthly worldwide to discuss the latest knowledge on road safety tools, programmes and partnerships helping make global roads safer.

Our second #RAPKnowledgeLive session will be held next month on iRAP’s Route Review Tool.

The Route Review Tool has been designed to support practitioners in applying their own expertise and local knowledge to the iRAP recommendations to generate a User Defined Investment Plan.

The tool allows the user to review information about the road such as star ratings and fatal and serious injury worms, images of the road and more, and then use this information to select and deselect countermeasures to create a refined treatment plan.

The user’s selected countermeasures are then passed back through the iRAP model to see their impact on fatal and serious injury estimates and star ratings.

In this session we will cover:

  • What is the Route Review Tool?
  • What is its role in the iRAP methodology?
  • How does it work?
  • Case of Application: UK

Speakers will include:

  • James Bradford (Global Technical Director – iRAP)
  • Dr Suzy Charman (Executive Director – Road Safety Foundation)

Date: Tuesday 16 May 2023

Time: 8.00 AM – 9.00 AM (Eastern time)/ 2.00 PM – 3.00 PM (CEST)

Registration is free.
