The World Bank Global Road Safety Facility (GRSF) invites you to the June 7 launch event for the Saving Lives Through Private Investment in Road Safety Report.

The report, produced by the World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC), in partnership with iRAP and FIA High Level Panel for Road Safety, examines the market failure in road safety funding and outlines practical business models to mobilise the private investment and sustainable finance needed to address the invisible crisis of dangerous roads.

The hybrid Launch event will showcase different business models and financing instruments to channel private investment into road safety projects. It will also explore the enabling environment for structuring investable road safety projects in a sample of countries, looking at the barriers and opportunities, and proposing risks and mitigation strategies, like blended finance mechanisms and stable revenue sources, for long-term sustainability of road safety investments.
