We are constantly working to improve the iRAP tool suite and, based on the feedback we have received, we are pleased to announce two new features that have been added to ViDA.
ViDA users can now invite new people and share data with them.
Have you ever wanted to share your data in ViDA with someone, but they didn’t have an account? This new feature enables you to send an email invite from ViDA with access to your data already granted.
Watch short video here on how to invite new users on ViDA
Points to note:
- If the invite is not accepted, the email for the invited person will only retained in ViDA for 30 days (to ensure GDPR compliancy).
- If two (or more) users invite the same person they will have permissions for both invites (unless one has expired).
Ability to display Dataset summary information on ViDA Results page
Have you ever wondered when data in ViDA was collected or what it represents? An ‘i’ icon has been added next to datasets on the Results page filter. When clicked it will display a summary of the key high-level information of the dataset:
We encourage everyone to add a description for datasets – especially Final ones.
