iRAP specifications, user guides and manuals that support iRAP tools and assessments are being updated.
The team at iRAP are excited to announce the launch of the new iRAP Coding Manual, iRAP Survey Manual and iRAP Inspection System Accreditation Specification.
The documents being released are the first of a full update to the iRAP specifications, user guides and manuals.
The new specifications, user guides and manuals will be officially launched in mid 2019. From the launch, the new documents will be available online here.
In updating these important reference materials, this update will:
- Reduce the number of documents and duplication of information
- Improve the consistency and clarity of information
- Make it easier to find information
- Improve the resources for training and accreditation purposes
- Ensure the guidance helps suppliers to deliver high quality projects
- Adapt to new methods and technologies available, and
- Support the new Star Rating for Designs tool.
The new documents are available for download at irap.org/specifications.
The next release of updated documents will occur on 4 June 2019.
Projects which are currently underway, or which will begin before, and finish after, 1 July 2019 should continue to use the current specifications, user guides and manuals. These will remain on the iRAP website and can be accessed here.
All new projects commencing after 1 July 2019 will be required to use the new specifications.
