Shona Holroyd has been appointed as iRAP’s new Chief Finance Officer.
Shona, who has 27 years of experience in finance, is returning to iRAP after four years working in senior financial roles in the UK oil industry. She served as iRAP’s first CFO from 2007-2013 and was a key part of the charity’s team as it began to scale up its life-saving work around the world.
Starting as a BP graduate, Shona subsequently worked in many key roles in BP and has also worked extensively with new business start-ups. She has a keen interest in charity work and has spent many years volunteering, including helping to set up new charities.
‘I am delighted to be returning to iRAP at this exciting time in its development,’ Shona said. ‘I feel very privileged to be able to work alongside old colleagues, as well as new colleagues, as we work together to help save lives around the world.’
iRAP CEO Rob McInerney said: ‘It’s great to have Shona back in the iRAP family. With her recent expertise across improved management reporting, building efficient business processes, treasury functions, compliance and governance she will bring so much to the team again as we grow in impact worldwide.
‘She is a mighty fine person to work with – welcome back Shona!’
