Een belangrijke stap voorwaarts voor veiligere wegen in Senegal – twee extra iRAP-geaccrediteerde professionals!

We are very pleased to announce that two engineers from AGEROUTE Senegal have obtained iRAP accreditation.

Ndeye Khady Loum En Baba Tawel Camara, two young engineers working at the Senegal Road Agency (AGEROUTE Senegal) have obtained their iRAP accreditation.

They are both members of the Technical Group of the Senegal Road Assessment Programme – SnRAP – established since 2025 as part of the Ten Step Plan for safer road infrastructure (“Ten Step Plan Senegal”), funded by UNRSF.

The contribution of these two highly qualified engineers to the SnRAP programme and the safety of road infrastructure is a significant event for Senegal.

About The Ten Step Senegal Project:

It provides free training and accreditation pathways for local professionals. We hope examples like these will encourage more emerging road safety practitioners across Senegal to join the training programmes and help build a stronger safety culture nationwide.

Together, these partners are strengthening national road safety systems and ensuring that professionals like Ndeye Khady Loum and Baba Tawel Camara are equipped to drive safer, high‑quality road infrastructure across Senegal.
