What is ViDA?
Protecting the integrity of the global standard for road infrastructure safety, ViDA is the free online data hosting and processing engine for Étoiles iRAP – an objective measure of the level of safety which is ‘built-in’ to the road for vehicle occupants, pedestrians, motorcyclists and bicyclists – where a 1-star road is the least safe and a 5-star road is the safest.
It analyses results providing Fatal and Serious Injury (FSI) Estimates and Investment Plans to inform life-saving road upgrades, and is the hub for iRAP’s global tools that are revolutionising the safety of highways and urban streets worldwide: Notation par étoiles pour les créations (NPE3C), Démonstrateur de notation par étoiles, et Notation par étoiles pour les écoles (SR4S).
En mars 2024, 7,8 millions de km d'analyses complètes de notation et de scénarios d'investissement ont été réalisés dans ViDA de l'iRAP, utilisés par près de 20 000 partenaires RAP.
