Dans le cadre de Fondation AIP’s innovative Big Data road safety program, IA et moi : Donner aux jeunes les moyens d'agir pour des routes plus sûres, AIP Foundation, iRAP and the Ministry of Transport (MOT) hosted the first hands-on training of the Youth Engagement APP (YEA) to key government stakeholders and teachers – in Ho Chi Minh City, Pleiku City, and Yen Bai, Vietnam. The main objective was to provide an introduction to the IA et moi program as well as launch the YEA App with instructions on how to use it.
Faites entendre votre voix : une application d’engagement des jeunes pour une mobilité plus sûre
L'application YEA offre aux jeunes un moyen efficace d'identifier et de signaler les conditions routières dangereuses, leur permettant ainsi de faire entendre leur voix. Grâce à cette application, les autorités publiques recevront des données sous forme de recommandations concrètes pour mettre en œuvre des mesures de sécurité routière efficaces et fondées sur des données probantes. Cela facilitera l'identification des points noirs et permettra une analyse plus approfondie afin de déterminer le niveau de sécurité des zones scolaires.
The trainings were facilitated by MOT & iRAP’s leading technical experts in their field:

- Mr. Le Van Thanh, Special list, Infrastructure Department, MOT
As a result of the training, the teachers will be better equipped to use the YEA app and play an active role in providing training to 1800 students from 18 pilot schools to use it. In turn, it is then these students that will raise their voices for streets for life. It brings us closer to our vision of a world where all neighbourhood streets are liveable, safe, and sustainable.
