The Government aims to reduce the number and severity of road crashes and achieve international standards of road safety and innovation on federal highways.

La codification iRAP fait partie du programme inov@BR associé au pilier Sécurité routière.

DNIT leads BrazilRAP, the national road assessment programme for Brazil and was recently awarded an iRAP 5-Star Performer Award for its exceptional leadership of the programme and outstanding efforts to build local capacity and apply the méthodologie iRAP extensively on Brazil´s federal roads.
