Training and Accreditation
Training
iRAP’s Training Programme builds the knowledge and practical skills needed to plan, deliver and use road assessments that save lives. Through flexible online courses, live webinars, mentoring and in‑person workshops, the programme supports professionals worldwide to develop competency in iRAP tools, star ratings and safer road investment planning. Training is designed to be accessible, globally relevant and aligned with iRAP accreditation pathways, helping participants turn evidence‑based learning into real‑world road safety outcomes.
Accreditatie
iRAP’s Accreditation Programme ensures that road assessments are delivered to a consistently high standard worldwide. By formally recognising qualified practitioners, inspection systems and data providers, accreditation builds confidence in the quality, reliability and comparability of iRAP assessments. Aligned with iRAP training pathways, the programme supports a global market of accredited professionals and suppliers who are committed to evidence‑based road safety and continuous improvement.
Grants
iRAP’s Training and Accreditation Grants Programme expands access to lifesaving road safety skills by providing free opportunities to participate in iRAP training and accreditation. The programme focuses on supporting women in engineering and professionals from low‑ and middle‑income countries, removing cost barriers to learning and professional recognition. By enabling participants to complete iRAP training and gain accreditation at no cost, the programme helps build a more diverse, inclusive and globally representative road safety workforce.
Stay tuned for announcements on our Grants Programme.
