From 25-27 May, the UITWERKER consortium gathered in Helsinki for its 5th and concluding plenary meeting, hosted by VTT.
Over three productive days, partners exchanged insights, reviewed progress across the Living Labs, and discussed the key outcomes achieved so far as we move closer to the project’s final conference this November.
As ELABORATOR approaches its closing stage, Lighthouse Cities are finalising the evaluation of interventions implemented throughout the project, while Follower Cities continue showcasing the benefits of collaboration and city-to-city learning through the twinning activities.

Over ELABORATOR
UITWERKER ELABORATOR is een Europees Living Lab-project gericht op het ontwerpen van duurzame stedelijke mobiliteitsoplossingen voor klimaatneutrale steden, waarbij wordt samengewerkt met kwetsbare gebruikersgroepen en lokale overheden. iRAP, een van de 38 partners die betrokken zijn bij het project en gefinancierd wordt door het Horizon EU-programma, hanteert een holistische aanpak voor het plannen, ontwerpen, implementeren en uitrollen van innovaties en interventies voor duurzame stedelijke mobiliteit. Deze kunnen bestaan uit slimme handhavingsinstrumenten, herinrichting en dynamische toewijzing van de ruimte, gedeelde diensten en de integratie van actieve en groene vervoerswijzen. De interventies zullen worden gedemonstreerd in verschillende steden in Europa, te beginnen met zes Lighthouse Cities: Milaan (Italië), Kopenhagen (Denemarken), Helsinki (Finland), Issy-les-Moulineaux (Frankrijk), Zaragoza (Spanje) en Trikala (Griekenland); en zes Follower Cities: Lund (Zweden), Liberec (Tsjechië), Velenje (Slovenië), Split (Kroatië), Krusevac (Servië) en Ioannina (Griekenland). Elke stad zal een of meer innovatieve 'interventies' implementeren om de stedelijke mobiliteit te verbeteren, met als doel te laten zien hoe de interventie kan worden uitgevoerd en de effectiviteit ervan te demonstreren aan 'observatiesteden'.
