iRAP has published a new Rapports interactifs page web pour présenter des exemples d'analyses de données pertinentes réalisées à partir de iRAP et de données connexes, afin de communiquer les résultats du projet, de souligner la nécessité impérieuse d'éliminer les routes à haut risque et de mettre en avant les progrès accomplis en matière de sécurité des infrastructures et de renforcement des capacités.
L'analyse de données peut être immensément puissante pour examiner de grandes quantités de données afin de découvrir des informations cachées et, en les présentant de manière graphique intelligente, rendre les résultats beaucoup plus faciles à saisir avec immédiateté et impact. De plus, avec l'avantage de logiciels tels que Power BI, des liens peuvent être établis entre les ensembles de données pour la fertilisation croisée des connaissances.
iRAP et ses partenaires ont publié une série de rapports qui démontrent l'efficacité de ce type de reporting et son potentiel pour orienter le plaidoyer, l'élaboration des politiques, les investissements et les actions concrètes.
The webpage, which will continue to grow over time, includes:
- iRAP Safety Insights Explorer – sharing the human and economic impact of road trauma, how safe our roads are, and the positive impact that can be made with investment.
- Notation des écoles pour le suivi des écoles sûres – sharing how road infrastructure upgrades are improving the safety of school journeys around the world.
- BrazilRAP Results Dashboard – sharing how the National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) is harnessing and sharing iRAP assessment data, alongside local crash and fatality data, to inform safer roads activity in Brazil.
- Powered Two-Wheeler Insights Report – to support discussions on the safety of motorcyclists, this interactive report was released to accompany the Asia Pacific Road Safety Observatory Annual Meeting.
- Tanzania Ten Step Plan Insights – this dashboard was developed as part of the iRAP Impact Evaluation the UNRSF Ten Step Tanzania Plan for Safer Road Infrastructure project.
- Tableau de bord du projet Cible 3 – shares results of the Target 3 Project analysed over 30 road corridor projects worldwide, totalling more than 2,000km of roads and designs, to examine progress towards ensuring all new roads are 3-star or better for all road users by 2030.
