We’re proud to share our 2025 Annual Report, a testament to the inspiring and collective impact of our partners, donors and road safety champions around the world working together to create a world free of high-risk roads.
The report highlights the progress made in 2025 through the dedication and collaboration of the global iRAP partner family — governments and road authorities, development banks and funding institutions, FIA mobility clubs, researchers, the private sector and road safety NGOs. Together, these partnerships are helping to transform the safety of roads and streets in 140 countries.
iRAP’s evidence-based tools, programmes and partnerships are supporting safer road investment decisions, growing road safety capacity and accelerating action towards the global goal of halving road deaths and injuries by 2030.
This progress would not be possible without the generous and long-term support of iRAP’s major donor the FIA Foundation and supporter Aleatica Foundation, the technical contributions of our development partners, and the dedication of thousands of organisations and individuals worldwide.
Celebrating the release, iRAP CEO Greg Smith said, “Every safer road, every safer journey and every life protected is the result of collaboration. For every US$100 our charity receives from the FIA Foundation, we’re able to mobilise another $1,000 in projects funded by others, influence $425,000 in road investments, and help prevent 13 deaths and serious injuries. We’re so proud to be empowering the passion and commitment of our partners around the world who are turning evidence into safer roads and life-saving action.”
