Today, more than ever, we must join forces to build safer, more inclusive and sustainable mobility in Latin America and the Caribbean. Save the date for 6 October and join our “Restoring Hope” online webinar, a partnership initiative of Aleatica Foundation, iRAP, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Ibero-American Road Safety Observatory (OISEVI), FIA Foundation, MAPFRE Foundation, Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety, World Bank, Pan American Health Organization and the United Nations.
Latin America and the Caribbean are going through a key moment to move towards safer, more inclusive and sustainable mobility.
Recent international agreements, initiatives and developments offer an opportunity to strengthen regional cooperation and translate commitments into action.
Whilst the challenges remain for road safety, so too does the opportunity to strengthen cooperation, share knowledge and accelerate solutions that save lives and create better mobility for all.
This webinar will bring together representatives of international organizations, governments, multilateral banks and organizations specialized in road safety to discuss four key milestones: the Declaration of the 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety; the UN Decade of Sustainable Transport 2026–2035; Ibero-American Safe Mobility Index; and outcomes of the 2026 UN High-Level Meeting on Road Safety.
The webinar will be presented in Spanish and provide a forum to connect with organisations and individuals who are driving change and working together to create a safer and more sustainable future for the region.
Join the conversation on 6 October from 9 – 10.30am CST, Mexico (GMT-6).
