Join us on 11th January 2022 from 1 to 2 pm CET for the third of our EuroRAP lunchtime seminars where we will spotlight one of our National schemes. Jure Kostanjšek, Secretary-General of the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Slovenia (AMZS), and Klemen Filipič, accredited iRAP engineer at AMZS, will present the EuroRAP programme in Slovenia: a success story 2008–2021.
AMZS as an independent non-governmental organization of road users has been performing EuroRAP road assessment procedures continuously since 2008. They are a long-time advocate of road safety in Slovenia which demands a top condition of roads for their members and other users of roads in Slovenia. AMZS has formed a national EuroRAP consortium, comprising of different stakeholders, designed and developed their own inspection system accredited by iRAP and established an expert team, which allows them to perform independent infrastructure safety analysis.
AMZS and their technical and expert support partner Traffic Technical Institute were awarded by EuroRAP for outstanding performance in 2009–2010 and 2015 respectively. Besides, AMZS won a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in 2019.

This is the third of EuroRAP’s lunchtime seminar series which will provide information about the EuroRAP protocols through the ‘RAP basics’ events, insight into iRAP research and innovation through our ‘Hot Topic’ seminars and inspiration for EuroRAP programmes through our ‘National schemes spotlight’ seminars. These three webinar types will be presented in rotation giving us food for thought every month.
