ELABORATOR, a leading initiative in the realm of sustainable urban mobility, has released its highly anticipated Inclusion Plan, signalling a pivotal step forward in the quest for inclusive and climate-neutral cities. This comprehensive document outlines strategies to foster inclusivity at every stage of urban planning and mobility innovation.
De 3-jarige UITWERKER Het project, waaraan 38 partners deelnemen, hanteert een holistische aanpak voor het plannen, ontwerpen, implementeren en uitrollen van innovaties en interventies voor duurzame stedelijke mobiliteit. Dit kan onder meer bestaan uit slimme handhavingsinstrumenten, herinrichting en dynamische toewijzing van de ruimte, gedeelde diensten en de integratie van actieve en groene vervoerswijzen.
De interventies zullen in verschillende steden in Europa worden gedemonstreerd, te beginnen met zes 'Lighthouse Cities': Milaan (Italië), Kopenhagen (Denemarken), Helsinki (Finland), Issy-les-Moulineaux (Frankrijk), Zaragoza (Spanje) en Trikala (Griekenland); en zes 'Follower Cities': Lund (Zweden), Liberec (Tsjechië), Velenje (Slovenië), Split (Kroatië), Krusevac (Servië) en Ioannina (Griekenland). Elke stad zal een of meer innovatieve 'interventies' implementeren om de stedelijke mobiliteit te verbeteren, met als doel te laten zien hoe de interventie kan worden uitgevoerd en de effectiviteit ervan te demonstreren aan de 'Observer Cities'.
