The aim is to implement the Road Safety Education We Are All: #SafeIsCool program in the schools of Nogales and Puchuncav\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>This partnership marks a milestone for safe mobility in the Valpara\u00edso Region, adopting the Star Rating for School (SR4S) methodology, developed by iRAP and supported by the FIA Foundation and the Child Health Initiative.<\/p>\n<p>This tool allows for a technical assessment of road safety in school environments and the proposal of specific tactical urban planning improvements, such as safe intersections, signage, and speed bumps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/IMG_5690-1536&#215;1024-1.jpg&#8221; title_text=&#8221;IMG_5690-1536&#215;1024&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_1  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<p>The initiative, generated from the work of both organizations in the National Pact for Road Safety articulated by the National Commission for Traffic Safety (CONASET) through the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, also includes a technical diagnosis and awareness-raising actions with students, teachers, and families, reinforcing the culture of road safety.<\/p>\n<p>The Nogales-Puchuncav\u00ed Concessionary Company will be responsible for assuming the role of donor and facilitator of the project, while the Automobile Club will be the technical manager, leading the implementation and coordination with government and local stakeholders, as well as coordinating infrastructure interventions. Once the improvements are completed, each school will be awarded a new road safety rating, along with a recognition plaque.<\/p>\n<p>This collaboration builds on previous learnings promoted by the Aleatica Foundation in Mexico and seeks to replicate effective models in other territories.
