This valuable training equips you with the skills to design safer roads and save lives worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hear from a Past Recipient<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u2018We have been a part of the transportation system historically dependent on males, we now belong to the decision-makers, the designers, and the agents of change, let&#8217;s make the transportation system inclusive to all, women, children, the elderly, and the disabled.\u2019 \u2013 <\/em><em>Nuria Jasira Diaz Vale (Peru) <\/em><em>Successful Grant recipient from 2021 <\/em><\/p>\n<p>We will be sharing more stories and experiences from past recipients and our iRAP team over the next few months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is Eligible?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Women with a background in road-related planning, design, or engineering<\/li>\n<li>Have not previously taken the Star Rating Essentials and Star Rating for Designs courses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Selection Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll select grant recipients based on their answers to the following questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why are you interested in learning more about iRAP&#8217;s methodology?<\/li>\n<li>How will you use the knowledge and skills gained from these courses?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications Open: Monday May 27 2024<\/li>\n<li>Applications Close: Monday July 8 2024 (COB)<\/li>\n<li>Grant Recipients Announced: Wednesday July 31 2024<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Have Questions?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Contact iRAP&#8217;s Training and Accreditation Coordinator, Franco Azzato, at email franco.azzato@irap.org<\/p>\n<p><strong>Let&#8217;s build safer roads together!
