We will announce the selected applicants on 27 July 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our #RAPcommunity is made up of just over 20% females and we are keen to encourage women to contribute to save lives around the world on our roads.<\/p>\n<p>This year, as part of the International Women in Engineering Day (Wednesday 23 June), you will see a few initiatives from iRAP that will benefit and encourage women to be part of our #RAPcommunity, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>celebrating women making a difference in road safety as part of the\u00a0International Women in Engineering Day campaign \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/international-women-in-engineering-day-recognising-engineeringheroes-in-road-safety\/\">click here for more information<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>selecting 20 women to take our <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/2020\/07\/self-paced-training-irap-star-rating-essentials-5-part-video-series\/\">Star Rating Essentials<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/2020\/07\/self-paced-training-iraps-star-rating-for-designs-4-part-video-series\/\">Star Rating for Designs<\/a> courses for free.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The aim of this grant is to benefit 20 women with a background in engineering to take the <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/2020\/07\/self-paced-training-irap-star-rating-essentials-5-part-video-series\/\">Star Rating Essentials<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/2020\/07\/self-paced-training-iraps-star-rating-for-designs-4-part-video-series\/\">Star Rating for Designs<\/a> courses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>iRAP will select 20 women that fit in the criteria below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a background in engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Has not benefited from an iRAP project in the last 5 years.<\/li>\n<li>Will have the best use of the acquired knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you think you fit these criteria, please complete the following form to apply by COB 7 July 2021.
