They are currently focused on rural road networks and the needs of vehicle occupants only and support high-level network level road safety planning.<\/p>\n

The stereotypes were developed by iRAP Centre of Excellence ARRB using the Star Rating Demonstrator<\/a> and provide an indicative guide of what the Star Ratings for existing networks and designs may be based on a few key attributes and assumptions to create homogeneous sections. They are typically used as a network screening tool to identify high-priority sections for further investigation and upgrades.<\/p>\n
