These outcomes highlight the effectiveness of using data-driven advocacy to achieve safer streets.<\/p>\n<p>Results thus far have shown:<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_2,1_2&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>80 Mobility Snapshots<\/strong> in <strong>35 countries<\/strong> at intersections<\/li>\n<li>More than <strong>83,000 pedestrians and 8,000 bicyclists<\/strong> use these <strong>80 intersections<\/strong> during peak hour<\/li>\n<li>Yet, key interventions to protect pedestrians and bicyclists are lacking in many:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>46 lacked a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/toolkit\/priority-interventions\/30-km-h-zones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">speed limit of 30 km\/h<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>or lower<\/li>\n<li><strong>40 lacked\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/toolkit\/priority-interventions\/traffic-calming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">traffic calming<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>to reduce vehicle speeds <strong>around pedestrians and cyclists<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>60 lacked\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/toolkit\/priority-interventions\/traffic-calming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">traffic calming<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to reduce vehicle speeds <strong>around pedestrians<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Only 7 intersections have bicycle paths<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>29 Snapshots were assessed by iRAP<\/strong> using the Star-Rating system<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pedestrians\u2019 risks of dying or being seriously injured could be reduced by 60% and up to 99%<\/strong> by implementing proven interventions<\/li>\n<li>Some intersections would <strong>cost as little as US$8,000 to implement recommendations<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;
