Ele recomenda o Star Rating for Schools como uma abordagem metodol\u00f3gica para coletar dados t\u00e9cnicos e avaliar a seguran\u00e7a vi\u00e1ria em zonas escolares, combinada com percep\u00e7\u00f5es da comunidade.<\/p>\n<p>Alinhado ao Plano Nacional de Redu\u00e7\u00e3o de Mortes e Les\u00f5es no Tr\u00e2nsito (PNATRANS), o Guia de Faixas de Seguran\u00e7a Escolar em desenvolvimento se tornar\u00e1 a diretriz nacional para todos os projetos de infraestrutura vi\u00e1ria em ambientes escolares no pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>O guia pr\u00e1tico inclui a\u00e7\u00f5es recomendadas para garantir a seguran\u00e7a de jovens viajantes, diagn\u00f3stico de problemas de seguran\u00e7a vi\u00e1ria, consulta comunit\u00e1ria, medidas de engenharia, gest\u00e3o, fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de tr\u00e2nsito e monitoramento e manuten\u00e7\u00e3o \u2013 incorporando as melhores pr\u00e1ticas do Brasil e do exterior.<\/p>\n<p>O uso de <a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/\">Classifica\u00e7\u00e3o por Estrelas para Escolas (SR4S)<\/a> \u00e9 recomendado medir, gerenciar e comunicar o risco ao qual as crian\u00e7as s\u00e3o expostas em seu trajeto para a escola. O Programa de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o Rodovi\u00e1ria BrazilRAP, administrado pelo DNIT, recebeu a certifica\u00e7\u00e3o com o selo inov@BR do Minist\u00e9rio da Infraestrutura do Brasil. As atividades do BrazilRAP avaliaram 132.277 km de estradas e projetos, al\u00e9m de 42 escolas, influenciando a seguran\u00e7a de US$ 1,413 bilh\u00e3o em investimentos em infraestrutura que salvam vidas em todo o pa\u00eds. O Brasil\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/dnit\/pt-br\">Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (DNIT)<\/a> foi agraciado com o Trof\u00e9u Memorial Gary Liddle da iRAP em 2023, concedido \u00e0 autoridade rodovi\u00e1ria com melhor desempenho mundial na elimina\u00e7\u00e3o de rodovias de alto risco. Em apenas 20 meses, o DNIT, com o apoio de parceiros locais e da iRAP, classificou em Estrelas a extensa rede de 57.000 km do pa\u00eds, fornecendo dados essenciais para identificar trechos de alto risco e desenvolver Planos de Investimento em Rodovias Mais Seguras para cada Estado, que priorizaram contramedidas de engenharia de custo-benef\u00edcio para melhorar a seguran\u00e7a rodovi\u00e1ria.
