O objetivo principal \u00e9 tornar Surat e Bhubaneswar modelos replic\u00e1veis para a gest\u00e3o integrada de riscos urbanos.<\/p>\n<p>O projeto reconhece que os riscos clim\u00e1ticos e de infraestrutura est\u00e3o profundamente interligados. O pavimento das estradas \u00e9 degradado pelo calor e pelas inunda\u00e7\u00f5es, e a polui\u00e7\u00e3o atmosf\u00e9rica \u00e9 agravada pelas emiss\u00f5es dos transportes. Por outro lado, infraestruturas inseguras ou deterioradas aumentam ainda mais a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o aos riscos relacionados com o clima.<\/p>\n<p>O projeto visa produzir uma avalia\u00e7\u00e3o abrangente dos riscos clim\u00e1ticos e de seguran\u00e7a rodovi\u00e1ria, mapeando as sobreposi\u00e7\u00f5es espaciais entre risco clim\u00e1tico, risco de seguran\u00e7a rodovi\u00e1ria (atrav\u00e9s da metodologia iRAP) e exposi\u00e7\u00e3o da infraestrutura, com foco especial na rede vi\u00e1ria das cidades e nas principais infraestruturas p\u00fablicas.
