{"id":52399,"date":"2022-02-15T22:53:44","date_gmt":"2022-02-15T22:53:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/irap.org\/?p=52399"},"modified":"2022-03-29T01:08:39","modified_gmt":"2022-03-29T00:08:39","slug":"welcome-to-the-team-franco-azzato-iraps-new-training-and-accreditation-coordinator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/pt\/2022\/02\/welcome-to-the-team-franco-azzato-iraps-new-training-and-accreditation-coordinator\/","title":{"rendered":"Bem-vindo \u00e0 equipe Franco Azzato \u2013 novo Coordenador de Treinamento e Credenciamento do iRAP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.12.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.12.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.12.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.12.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>We are delighted to welcome Franco Azzato, iRAP\u2019s new Training and Accreditation Coordinator.\u00a0 In his role, Franco will be responsible for <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/training\/\">iRAP training<\/a>, which has helped make the iRAP methodology accessible to thousands of people around the world, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/accreditation\/\">iRAP accreditation scheme<\/a>, which supports the creation of a market of suppliers able to competitively bid to provide iRAP-specification services.<\/p>\n<p>Franco is coming to iRAP from Fundaci\u00f3n Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez where he has worked across several areas including a motorcycle safety program that has involved more than 100 webinars, child restraint testing with international partners such as LatinNCAP, and implementing Star Ratings for Schools (SR4S).<\/p>\n<p>He has also been advising the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on motorcycle safety and just recently <a href=\"https:\/\/publications.iadb.org\/es\/la-motocicleta-en-america-latina-actualidad-y-buenas-practicas-recomendadas-para-el-cuidado-de-sus?fbclid=IwAR20SHxfp4Jd0sinqA4S64Oaki6V9NcnNAVZVzpyxhsm8T5qRT_LFFZ8ius\">his work has been published<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On his appointment as the new Training and Development Coordinator, Franco said, &#8220;Training professionals on Road Safety, and accrediting them on the usage of tools, is a serious matter. It is not enough to develop the knowledge and tools; those must be in the correct hands so proper improvements can get to the places where they are needed. I feel honoured to be part of iRAP, such an important Programme in the world of Road Safety, and I am really looking forward to actively contributing to the final objective: saving lives!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Franco is based in Argentina.<\/p>\n<p>iRAP warmly welcomes Franco to our team!<\/p>\n<p>iRAP thanks the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gonzalorodriguez.org\/en\/\">Fundaci\u00f3n Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez<\/a> for their continued support, in particular the Star Rating for Schools Programme and we look forward to more opportunities to make journeys safer for children around the world through their activities.<\/p>\n<p>And as we welcome Franco, we say goodbye to Alessandra Fran\u00e7oia, who has been iRAP\u2019s Training and Accreditation Coordinator since 2018.
