{"id":4062,"date":"2023-09-06T04:05:06","date_gmt":"2023-09-05T18:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/new-local-government-star-ratings-tool-launched-for-the-western-australian-context\/"},"modified":"2023-09-06T04:05:06","modified_gmt":"2023-09-05T18:05:06","slug":"new-local-government-star-ratings-tool-launched-for-the-western-australian-context","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/pt\/new-local-government-star-ratings-tool-launched-for-the-western-australian-context\/","title":{"rendered":"New local government Star Ratings tool launched for the Western Australian context"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Western Australian Local Government Association <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadwise.asn.au\/\">(WALGA) RoadWise<\/a> has partnered with the Western Australian Centre for Road Safety Research (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwa.edu.au\/institutes\/wa-centre-for-road-safety-research\/Home\">WACRSR<\/a>) at the University of Western Australia (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwa.edu.au\/institutes\/wa-centre-for-road-safety-research\/Home\">UWA<\/a>) to develop a tailor-made Safety Ratings Tool for the state\u2019s Local Governments.<\/p>\n<p>Launched today and with funding from the Australian Government Office of Road Safety, the tool provides Local Governments with an easy-to-use, and cost-effective method to assess the safety of the roads they manage.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadwise.asn.au\/local-government\/lgstars.aspx\">LG Stars<\/a> is a tool that will provide Local Governments with an assessment and understanding of the safety standard of local roads.
