Melhorar a seguran\u00e7a em nossas estradas \u00e9, portanto, fundamental para alcan\u00e7armos o desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel e combatermos a pobreza.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cO Governo est\u00e1 empenhado e j\u00e1 iniciou a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de uma s\u00e9rie de interven\u00e7\u00f5es para melhorar a seguran\u00e7a rodovi\u00e1ria, em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com outras partes interessadas. O Plano Nacional de A\u00e7\u00e3o para a Seguran\u00e7a Rodovi\u00e1ria foi desenvolvido em consulta com todas as partes interessadas relevantes, de forma a definir um esfor\u00e7o coordenado para a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de interven\u00e7\u00f5es de seguran\u00e7a rodovi\u00e1ria nos pr\u00f3ximos cinco anos, servindo como instrumento orientador para contribuir para a preven\u00e7\u00e3o e redu\u00e7\u00e3o de acidentes rodovi\u00e1rios at\u00e9 2020.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cO Uganda est\u00e1 empenhado na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o das a\u00e7\u00f5es necess\u00e1rias para atingir essa meta e manifestamos nossa prontid\u00e3o para trabalhar com todas as partes interessadas no governo, no setor privado e em organiza\u00e7\u00f5es n\u00e3o governamentais, ao iniciarmos a 2\u00aa D\u00e9cada de A\u00e7\u00e3o para a Seguran\u00e7a Rodovi\u00e1ria, agindo com ousadia e decis\u00e3o durante a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de a\u00e7\u00f5es baseadas em evid\u00eancias e em conson\u00e2ncia com o Plano de A\u00e7\u00e3o Global para a Seguran\u00e7a Rodovi\u00e1ria 2021-2030\u201d, destacou o Sr. Katumba-Wamala.<\/p>\n<p>Este \u00e9 o primeiro Plano Nacional de A\u00e7\u00e3o para a Seguran\u00e7a Rodovi\u00e1ria de Uganda, com dura\u00e7\u00e3o de cinco anos, para o segundo per\u00edodo da A\u00e7\u00e3o Global 2021-2030. Ao final desse per\u00edodo de cinco anos, ser\u00e1 realizada uma revis\u00e3o e, com base em suas conclus\u00f5es, um novo plano de a\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 desenvolvido para o restante do per\u00edodo at\u00e9 2030.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"et-button\" href=\"https:\/\/resources.irap.org\/CRM\/Africa\/2022_Uganda_National_Road_Safety_Strategy_2021-2026.pdf\">Baixe a nova estrat\u00e9gia de Uganda.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>O projeto iRAP e seus mais de 180 parceiros locais em Uganda j\u00e1 avaliaram 2.577 km de rodovias, 110 km de projetos e 3 escolas, influenciando a seguran\u00e7a de mais de US$ 1.090.000 em investimentos em infraestrutura rodovi\u00e1ria. Mais de 48 pessoas foram treinadas em eventos realizados no pa\u00eds e quase 200 receberam treinamento online.
