O evento proporcionar\u00e1 uma oportunidade \u00fanica para abordar quest\u00f5es relacionadas a pa\u00edses e cidades onde os ve\u00edculos motorizados de duas rodas (VMP) s\u00e3o a forma predominante de transporte. Um dos principais destaques ser\u00e1 a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de uma s\u00e9rie de di\u00e1logos sobre alguns dos maiores desafios enfrentados por profissionais e defensores da seguran\u00e7a de motociclistas. Especialistas renomados internacionalmente interagir\u00e3o diretamente com os participantes para identificar interven\u00e7\u00f5es baseadas em evid\u00eancias que visem reduzir as perdas de vidas causadas por acidentes com motocicletas em pa\u00edses de baixa e m\u00e9dia renda.<\/p>\n<p><b>Reuni\u00e3o Anual da APRSO \u2013 13 de outubro\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>A Reuni\u00e3o Anual do Observat\u00f3rio de Seguran\u00e7a Rodovi\u00e1ria da \u00c1sia-Pac\u00edfico (APRSO) acontecer\u00e1 no dia 13 de outubro. O APRSO \u00e9 um f\u00f3rum regional sobre dados, pol\u00edticas e pr\u00e1ticas de seguran\u00e7a rodovi\u00e1ria. Seu mandato \u00e9 aprimorar a prote\u00e7\u00e3o da vida humana nas estradas da \u00c1sia e do Pac\u00edfico por meio da gera\u00e7\u00e3o de dados robustos sobre seguran\u00e7a rodovi\u00e1ria, da realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de an\u00e1lises e do desenvolvimento de pol\u00edticas para a\u00e7\u00f5es de seguran\u00e7a rodovi\u00e1ria nos pa\u00edses membros da \u00c1sia e do Pac\u00edfico. O APRSO foi estabelecido por um grupo de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es internacionais de desenvolvimento \u2013 o Banco Mundial (BM), a Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional do Autom\u00f3vel (FIA), o Banco Asi\u00e1tico de Desenvolvimento (ADB), o F\u00f3rum Internacional de Transportes (ITF) e a Comiss\u00e3o Econ\u00f4mica e Social das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para a \u00c1sia e o Pac\u00edfico (UNESCAP), com o apoio da Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade (OMS) e da Ajuda do Reino Unido por meio do Mecanismo Global de Seguran\u00e7a Rodovi\u00e1ria (GRSF).
