{"id":3141,"date":"2022-03-29T02:38:31","date_gmt":"2022-03-28T15:38:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/irap-methodology-showcased-at-dnits-4th-planning-week\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:39:52","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T02:39:52","slug":"irap-methodology-showcased-at-dnits-4th-planning-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/pt\/irap-methodology-showcased-at-dnits-4th-planning-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Metodologia iRAP apresentada na 4\u00aa Semana de Planejamento do DNIT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The iRAP methodology is on show at Brazil\u2019s National Department of Transport Infrastructure (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/dnit\/\">DNIT<\/a>) Fourth Planning Week this week in accordance with its nation-wide implementation, certified with the inov@BR seal.<\/p>\n<p>A BrazilRAP survey of 62,000km of federal roads is complete, and coding and analysis processes are starting to produce <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/pt\/rap-tools\/infrastructure-ratings\/star-ratings\/\">Avalia\u00e7\u00f5es por estrelas<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/pt\/rap-tools\/investment-planning\/safer-roads-investment-plans\/\">Safer Roads Investments Plans<\/a> for the country.<\/p>\n<p>DNIT&#8217;s Fourth Planning Week is occurring from 28-31 March and will feature more than 24 technical sessions on topics such as Infrastructure Planning and Programs; Expropriation and Resettlement Actions; Environment; Innovations, Technologies and IT Solutions applied to transport; Studies, Projects and Structuring; Road Safety; Models and Simulation for planning purposes; Infrastructure Maintenance; Building Information Modelling (BIM); and Information Intelligence in the transport sector.<\/p>\n<p>The event will feature presentations by DNIT employees and staff of the Municipality; equipment, products and services suppliers; and infrastructure experts in road, rail and waterway modes. The general public is invited to attend and participate in discussions and debate.<\/p>\n<p>An iRAP session on Tuesday 29 March will commence at 4pm local time and include the following presentations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/seafile.irap.org\/f\/cd80564c12c244a0bffb\/\">iRAP Innovation Projects &#8211; The Future of Methodology<\/a> <\/em><strong>Julio Urzua, Global Products Director, iRAP<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><em>National and International Case Studies of the iRAP Methodology <\/em><strong>Carolina Iris Brasil<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><em>iRAP Methodology &#8211; Evolutionary Panorama of Star Rating of the Federal Network <\/em><strong>Cintia Liz<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More information on the event including live stream links are available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/dnit\/pt-br\/assuntos\/campanhas-e-eventos\/semana-do-planejamento\/4a-semana-do-planejamento\">https:\/\/www.gov.br\/dnit\/pt-br\/assuntos\/campanhas-e-eventos\/semana-do-planejamento\/4a-semana-do-planejamento<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Implementation of the iRAP Methodology by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/dnit\/pt-br\">DNIT<\/a> was certified with the\u00a0inov@BR\u00a0seal from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/\">Minist\u00e9rio da Infraestrutura do Brasil<\/a> in February.\u00a0Inov@BR\u00a0consists of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnamericas.com\/en\/news\/brazil-launches-program-to-modernize-highways\">Policy for the Modernization of the Federal Highway Transport Infrastructure,<\/a>\u00a0which aims to ensure the safety and logistical efficiency of federal highways.<\/p>\n<p>The Government aims to reduce the number and severity of road crashes and achieve international standards of road safety and innovation on federal highways.<\/p>\n<p>iRAP Codification is part of the inov@BR Programme associated with the Road Safety pillar.<\/p>\n<p>DNIT leads BrazilRAP, the national road assessment programme for Brazil and was recently awarded an <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/pt\/2022\/02\/minister-welcomes-dnits-5-star-performer-award-brazil\/\">iRAP 5-Star Performer Award<\/a> for its exceptional leadership of the programme and outstanding efforts to build local capacity and apply the <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/pt\/methodology\/\">Metodologia iRAP<\/a>\u00a0extensively on Brazil\u00b4s federal roads.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The iRAP methodology is on show at Brazil\u2019s National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) Fourth Planning Week this week in accordance with its nation-wide implementation, certified with the inov@BR seal.
