Participantes de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es parceiras do projeto e partes interessadas relevantes assistiram ao workshop de dois dias e foram introduzidos \u00e0 seguran\u00e7a da infraestrutura rodovi\u00e1ria e ao modelo da iRAP, com foco na seguran\u00e7a de ciclistas.<\/p>\n<p>O projeto SABRINA foca na seguran\u00e7a da infraestrutura rodovi\u00e1ria para ciclistas, um dos usu\u00e1rios mais vulner\u00e1veis do tr\u00e2nsito. Ele aborda quest\u00f5es de seguran\u00e7a da infraestrutura ciclovi\u00e1ria em corredores cicl\u00edsticos existentes, planejados e inexistentes que cruzam nove pa\u00edses da regi\u00e3o do Dan\u00fabio. O objetivo \u00e9 melhorar as condi\u00e7\u00f5es da seguran\u00e7a da infraestrutura rodovi\u00e1ria para bicicletas na regi\u00e3o, elevando a capacidade de todos os stakeholders nacionais, regionais e locais relevantes para construir e melhorar a infraestrutura ciclovi\u00e1ria de forma segura e sustent\u00e1vel.<\/p>\n<p>A seguran\u00e7a rodovi\u00e1ria \u00e9 uma quest\u00e3o cr\u00edtica que precisa ser abordada para garantir que todos os usu\u00e1rios das vias estejam seguros. O modelo iRAP utiliza dados sobre as caracter\u00edsticas de uma estrada, rua ou caminho para avaliar o risco de acidentes para ve\u00edculos, motociclistas, pedestres e ciclistas.<\/p>\n<p>Durante a primeira parte do webinar, <strong>Morgan Fletcher, a l\u00edder da equipe de Opera\u00e7\u00f5es para Am\u00e9rica Latina e Caribe na iRAP,<\/strong> introduziu os participantes \u00e0 seguran\u00e7a de sistemas e \u00e0 seguran\u00e7a da infraestrutura rodovi\u00e1ria. \u201cA cada dia, 3.500 pessoas morrem no mundo em acidentes de tr\u00e2nsito. Acidentes de tr\u00e2nsito s\u00e3o a principal causa de morte entre jovens de 5 a 29 anos. H\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m cerca de 100.000 pessoas que sofrem les\u00f5es que mudam suas vidas todos os dias nas estradas do mundo. ... Melhorar a seguran\u00e7a das estradas \u00e9 o fator alcan\u00e7\u00e1vel mais significativo na redu\u00e7\u00e3o do trauma rodovi\u00e1rio. ... \u00c9 realmente importante que acreditemos em mobilidade segura. ... Requer mais do que construir mais estradas para aumentar o fluxo de tr\u00e1fego, reduzir tempos de viagem, reduzir custos operacionais, etc. A seguran\u00e7a tem sido muitas vezes deixada de lado; tem sido vista como um luxo adicional que pode ser feito mais tarde. Mas, na verdade, a seguran\u00e7a tem que ser o fator mais importante que consideramos ao desenvolver nosso sistema de transporte.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jigesh Bhavsar, Gerente T\u00e9cnico em IndiaRAP,<\/strong> apresentou o iRAP em um contexto global. Estat\u00edsticas preocupantes baseadas no iRAP <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vaccinesforroads.org\/\">Vacinas para Estradas<\/a> Dados coletados indicam que, globalmente, 861 mil das vias t\u00eam classifica\u00e7\u00e3o de apenas 1 ou 2 estrelas para ciclistas (em uma escala de at\u00e9 5 estrelas). Pesquisas mostram que o risco de morte ou les\u00f5es graves de uma pessoa \u00e9 reduzido aproximadamente pela metade a cada aumento na classifica\u00e7\u00e3o por estrelas. Para entender como a classifica\u00e7\u00e3o por estrelas funciona na pr\u00e1tica, Jigesh demonstrou o uso pr\u00e1tico da ferramenta online do iRAP chamada <a href=\"https:\/\/vida.irap.org\/en-gb\/home\">Demonstrador de Classifica\u00e7\u00e3o por Estrelas<\/a> que est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel gratuitamente no site do iRAP. Avaliamos uma se\u00e7\u00e3o de estrada selecionada com tr\u00e1fego misto na Eslov\u00eania com estrela. Os participantes tamb\u00e9m foram incentivados a tentar usar o Demonstrator por conta pr\u00f3pria e avaliar se\u00e7\u00f5es de estrada selecionadas com estrela.<\/p>\n<p>A segunda parte da oficina focou ainda mais nos ciclistas. <strong>Monica Olyslagers, Gerente Global de Inova\u00e7\u00e3o e Especialista em Cidades no iRAP, <\/strong>apresentou seguran\u00e7a de bicicletas e o novo <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/pt\/cycleRAP\/\">Modelo CycleRAP<\/a>. CycleRAP \u00e9 um modelo dedicado \u00e0 avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da seguran\u00e7a de bicicletas e mobilidade leve. Ele identifica locais de alto risco e fornece dados para ajudar a reduzir acidentes e melhorar a seguran\u00e7a da infraestrutura para esses modos de transporte. Monica mostrou como o modelo pode ser usado na pr\u00e1tica. O modelo CycleRAP pode ser usado de forma independente ou em conjunto com outros modelos e ferramentas RAP e outros tipos de m\u00e9todos de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de risco. Ele tamb\u00e9m pode ser combinado com <a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/\">Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o por Estrelas para Escolas<\/a> modelo, que foi apresentado por <strong>Rafaela Machado, Coordenadora Global do Star Rating for Schools.<\/strong> Este modelo foca em pedestres e sua seguran\u00e7a, mas tamb\u00e9m pode ser combinado com o CycleRAP, que nos fornecer\u00e1 resultados sobre a seguran\u00e7a de crian\u00e7as a p\u00e9 e de bicicleta para ir e voltar da escola, al\u00e9m de fornecer aos tomadores de decis\u00e3o e \u00e0s partes interessadas relevantes os dados necess\u00e1rios para melhorias na infraestrutura e, consequentemente, melhor seguran\u00e7a vi\u00e1ria para crian\u00e7as e outros usu\u00e1rios das vias.<\/p>\n<p>O treinamento do iRAP fez parte do m\u00f3dulo de treinamento no \u00e2mbito do projeto SABRINA.
