After three and a half years EuroRAP RADAR<\/a> Project has come to an end.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A lot has been achieved during the last few years. To name some, more than 300 road safety specialists have been trained on identifying and improving risk on the road networks; tolls like ViDA\u00a0and training material including\u00a0iRAP coding manual have been translated to German (Austrian), Hungarian, Bulgarian, Czech, Croatian\/Bosnian\/Serbian, Slovenian and Moldovan language; Experts Groups involving all of you and external experts have worked hard to deliver reports on hot topics like Safer Road Investments Plans, Vulnerable Road Users,\u00a0Speed Management, Road Safety near Schools, newly revised\u00a0RISM directive and\u00a0Covid19 impact on road safety.<\/p>\n

Taking RADAR outputs to another level, implementing them in your country, and following up with capitalisation of all achieved will be the aim for the future. Working on road safety improvements in the region should continue, and it shared responsibility needs to remain to keep road safety high in our and all stakeholders\u2019 agendas in the years to come.<\/p>\n

RADAR<\/a> (Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de Riscos nas Estradas da \u00c1rea do Dan\u00fabio) come\u00e7ou em 2018 e \u00e9 um projeto de \u20ac 2,15 milh\u00f5es com dura\u00e7\u00e3o de 3 anos para melhorar a seguran\u00e7a da infraestrutura rodovi\u00e1ria, apoiar sistemas de transporte seguros e ecologicamente corretos e promover o acesso equilibrado de \u00e1reas urbanas e rurais. O projeto identificou riscos nas redes rodovi\u00e1rias e produziu planos para reduzir sistematicamente os riscos, melhorando a infraestrutura e o layout das estradas. Tamb\u00e9m foi oferecido treinamento e incentivadas atividades de coopera\u00e7\u00e3o transnacional para ajudar os partes interessadas na seguran\u00e7a rodovi\u00e1ria da regi\u00e3o a aprender com as melhores pr\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n
