{"id":2898,"date":"2021-11-03T23:52:55","date_gmt":"2021-11-03T12:52:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/ngos-handover-global-decade-plan-with-commitment-call\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:38:16","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T02:38:16","slug":"ngos-handover-global-decade-plan-with-commitment-call","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/pt\/ngos-handover-global-decade-plan-with-commitment-call\/","title":{"rendered":"ONGs entregam Plano Global da D\u00e9cada com apelo por compromisso"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Uruguay: Unidad Nacional de Seguridad Vial (UNASEV) receiving the Global Plan from iRAP Star Rating for Schools&#8217; Lead Partner Fundaci\u00f3n Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/\">Road safety NGOs<\/a> in more than 20 countries, supported by local RAPs and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youthforroadsafety.org\/\">SEU<\/a>, have met with national decision-makers to present the new <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.who.int\/media\/docs\/default-source\/documents\/health-topics\/road-traffic-injuries\/global-plan-for-road-safety.pdf?sfvrsn=65cf34c8_27&amp;download=true\">Plano Global para a D\u00e9cada de A\u00e7\u00e3o pela Seguran\u00e7a no Tr\u00e2nsito<\/a> and call for political commitment and action to save lives.<\/p>\n<p>The NGOs met with Transport Ministers, road safety agencies, mayors and other stakeholders in India, Thailand, Iran, Argentina, Malaysia, US, Bangladesh, Cote d&#8217;Ivoire, Chile, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Cambodia, Lebanon, Rwanda, Guatemala, Nepal, Uruguay, Uganda, Vietnam, Rwanda and Tunisia, to hand over the Plan and present a united civil society voice.<\/p>\n<p>iRAP and Star Rating for Schools (<a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/\">SR4S<\/a>) partners <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gonzalorodriguez.org\/\">Fundaci\u00f3n Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.safety4all.ir\/\">Pioneiros em Seguran\u00e7a Rodovi\u00e1ria<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/avoidaccident.org\/\">Avoid Accident<\/a> are just some of the NGOs involved in the initiative.<\/p>\n<p>More handovers are planned in the weeks ahead.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/vloGLoSkMsk\">Assistir v\u00eddeo<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Pioneers-handover-comp.jpg\" alt=\"Pioneers handover comp\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>City of Mashhad officials with Star Rating for Schools (SR4S) partner Road Safety Pioneers receiving the Global Plan.
