A Rua Adelaide, no centro, e a Rua Dornoch, que cruza Highgate Hill e West End, foram identificadas como as piores rotas para ciclistas. Nos quatro anos at\u00e9 2018, houve 18 acidentes envolvendo ciclistas na Rua Adelaide e 16 na Rua Dornoch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">A chefe de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas da RACQ, Rebecca Michael, disse que a decis\u00e3o se resumia a tr\u00eas fatores principais: velocidade, visibilidade e prote\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">\u201cQuando temos um alto volume de ciclistas com ve\u00edculos em nossas estradas, o potencial de acidente \u00e9 muito maior, e isso tamb\u00e9m pode ser agravado quando a infraestrutura n\u00e3o protege os ciclistas t\u00e3o bem\u201d, disse ela.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">\u201cVimos, ap\u00f3s a COVID, um aumento maior de pessoas andando de bicicleta no centro de Brisbane e em seus arredores.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">\u201cSabemos que a infraestrutura suburbana tem boas ciclovias chegando \u00e0 cidade, mas, assim que os ciclistas chegam ao CBD, eles geralmente saem das ciclovias segregadas e entram na via principal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">Mas o RACQ tamb\u00e9m disse que havia in\u00fameras maneiras de abordar os riscos de seguran\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_1HzXw\">A Sra.
