{"id":6312,"date":"2026-03-17T14:33:36","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T03:33:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/advancing-road-safety-with-the-automobile-association-of-cambodia\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T15:12:28","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T05:12:28","slug":"advancing-road-safety-with-the-automobile-association-of-cambodia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/advancing-road-safety-with-the-automobile-association-of-cambodia\/","title":{"rendered":"Het bevorderen van verkeersveiligheid met de Cambodjaanse automobielvereniging."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Luke Rogers, Global Operations Manager van iRAP, was vorige week in Cambodja en maakte van de gelegenheid gebruik om Diana Mony, algemeen directeur van de Automobile Association of Cambodia, te ontmoeten.<\/p>\n<p>Ze bespraken alles wat met verkeersveiligheid te maken heeft, waaronder het werk van iRAP-partners in Cambodja, een iRAP-project met het Ministerie van Openbare Werken en Vervoer, Star Rating for Schools-evaluaties die beleid voor levensreddende maatregelen en verbeteringen in schoolzones onderbouwen, lokale en regionale verkeersveiligheidscampagnes en mogelijkheden voor capaciteitsopbouw.<\/p>\n<p>De door partners geleide iRAP-activiteit heeft al 1.600 km aan wegen en ontwerpen, en 16 scholen beoordeeld, waarmee de veiligheid van US$ $ aan infrastructuurinvesteringen in het land wordt be\u00efnvloed. <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2023\/09\/improving-road-safety-in-cambodia-project-kicks-off\/\">Beoordeling over 900 km<\/a> Het strategische wegennet werd in 2024 voltooid, gefinancierd door de Aziatische Ontwikkelingsbank (ADB).<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, een <a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/2025\/07\/government-of-cambodia-launches-working-group-on-safe-school-zones-interventions-with-support-from-key-sr4s-partners\/\">De werkgroep voor interventies in veilige schoolzones is opgericht.<\/a>, Hierbij zijn onder andere belanghebbenden van de Cambodjaanse overheid betrokken, zoals UNICEF Cambodja, FIA Foundation, AIP Foundation, iRAP en Prudential Cambodia. AIP Foundation werkt, in samenwerking met het Cambodjaanse Ministerie van Openbare Werken en Transport, aan het verbeteren van de veiligheid van schoolreizen. Er wordt momenteel gewerkt aan een nationale training over Star Rating for Schools en de Richtlijn voor Veilige Schoolzones.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/tag\/cambodia\/\">Lees hier meer recent nieuws over iRAP in Cambodja.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Het vergroten van de capaciteit voor veiligere wegen in het land is een belangrijk doel. 111 mensen hebben geprofiteerd van de wereldwijde\/online training van iRAP, en 183 mensen hebben trainingen gevolgd tijdens lokale evenementen.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/safety-insights-explorer\/\">iRAP&#039;s Safety Insights Explorer<\/a>, Het behalen van VN-doelstelling 4, namelijk meer dan 751 ton aan reizen over wegen met 3 sterren of beter voor alle weggebruikers in Cambodja tegen 2030, zal naar schatting 208.716 levens redden gedurende de 20 jaar dat de wegen worden behandeld, met een economisch voordeel van 1,9 biljoen dollar \u2013 1,9 biljoen dollar voor elke 1,9 biljoen dollar die wordt uitgegeven.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Cambodia-BCSR.jpg\" alt=\"Cambodia BcSR\" \/><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>iRAP Global Operations Manager Luke Rogers was in Cambodia last week and took the opportunity to meet with Diana Mony, General Manager of Automobile Association of Cambodia.
