{"id":6041,"date":"2025-11-30T23:34:51","date_gmt":"2025-11-30T12:34:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/ten-step-plan-for-safer-road-infrastructure-in-senegal-one-year-progress-report\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T15:08:28","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T05:08:28","slug":"ten-step-plan-for-safer-road-infrastructure-in-senegal-one-year-progress-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/ten-step-plan-for-safer-road-infrastructure-in-senegal-one-year-progress-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Tienpuntenplan voor veiligere weginfrastructuur in Senegal: Een voortgangsverslag over \u00e9\u00e9n jaar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 2025 werd aanzienlijke vooruitgang geboekt bij de implementatie van het Tien-Stappenplan voor Veiliger Weginfrastructuur in Senegal met een snelle opschaling van de capaciteit, co\u00f6rdinatie van belanghebbenden en de lancering van SnRAP.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens de vergadering van de stuurgroep in november 2025 presenteerde het team \u2013 bestaande uit Franco Azzato (co\u00f6rdinator opleiding en accreditatie bij iRAP), Charles Lowan Bonou (door iRAP geaccrediteerd trainer), Sabri Hamza (iRAP), Nathalie Chiavassa (Safer Journeys Africa-iRAP) en Seynabou Diallo (ingenieur, IRF) \u2013 de resultaten van 2025 en de vooruitzichten voor 2026 aan de belanghebbenden gepresenteerd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Belangrijkste prestaties in 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Capaciteitsopbouw en opleiding: Er werd een ambitieus programma voor capaciteitsopbouw en opleiding opgezet, waarbij 154 deelnemers zich hebben aangemeld op het Ten-Step Plan-platform, dat online cursussen van PIARC, IRF en iRAP aanbiedt.<\/li>\n<li>Fysieke trainingssessies: Er werden drie fysieke sessies georganiseerd voor meer dan 50 deelnemers, met aandacht voor de PIARC-training op het gebied van verkeersveiligheidstechniek, de IRF-training voor verkeersveiligheidsaudits en de training over iRAP-sterrenclassificaties en ontwerpbeoordelingen.<\/li>\n<li>Certificering Wegveiligheidsauditors: Voor het eerst in Senegal zijn wegveiligheidsauditors gecertificeerd. Van de 21 die zich inschreven voor de IRF-auditoropleiding, slaagden er 12 met succes voor het examen. Deze mijlpaal zal Senegal in staat stellen om wegveiligheidsaudits uit te voeren voor alle wegprojecten, gebruikmakend van lokale expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Versterking van ANASER en Lancering van SnRAP: De technische capaciteit van de National Road Safety Agency (ANASER) werd versterkt door de offici\u00eble oprichting van het Senegal Road Assessment Program (SnRAP) in mei 2025 en de aanschaf van een voertuig voor weginspecties en -beoordelingen - weer een stap in de richting van het bereiken van wegen met een beoordeling van drie sterren of hoger in Senegal.<\/li>\n<li>Nationale workshops: Er werden twee grote nationale workshops georganiseerd: de nationale lancering in januari 2025 en de PIARC (TC 3.1) workshop in september 2025. Deze evenementen brachten de gehele nationale weg-, transport- en veiligheidsgemeenschap samen met internationale experts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Vooruitblik op 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Beoordeling van de nieuwe nationale verkeersveiligheidsstrategie van Senegal.<\/li>\n<li>Voorbereiden van aanbevelingen voor de opleiding en certificering van verkeersveiligheidsauditors.<\/li>\n<li>Het beheren van iRAP-accreditaties.<\/li>\n<li>Praktische verkeersveiligheidsbeoordelingen uitvoeren.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Parallel hieraan voert ANASER institutionele en technische versterkingsactiviteiten uit, zoals de ontwikkeling van een handreiking voor verkeersveiligheidsaudits met steun van de Wereldbank.<\/p>\n<p>De NGO LASER International, een partner van Ten-Step, zet haar inspanningen voort om de veiligheid rond scholen te verbeteren en te pleiten voor de handhaving van de snelheidslimiet van 30 km\/u nabij scholen onder het initiatief \u2018Safe Way to Schools\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jeugdspelen van de Olympische Spelen 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Senegal zal in 2026 gastheer zijn van de Jeugd Olympische Spelen (JOS).
