{"id":5881,"date":"2025-10-01T07:24:06","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T21:24:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/guinea-the-club-des-amis-du-monde-cam-and-rio-tinto-simfer-join-forces-to-raise-awareness-among-users-about-road-safety\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T15:05:50","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T05:05:50","slug":"guinea-the-club-des-amis-du-monde-cam-and-rio-tinto-simfer-join-forces-to-raise-awareness-among-users-about-road-safety","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/guinea-the-club-des-amis-du-monde-cam-and-rio-tinto-simfer-join-forces-to-raise-awareness-among-users-about-road-safety\/","title":{"rendered":"Guinee: De Club des Amis du Monde (CAM) en Rio Tinto Simfer bundelen hun krachten om het bewustzijn over verkeersveiligheid onder weggebruikers te vergroten."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Van mei tot juni 2025, de <a href=\"https:\/\/ongcam.com\/\">NGO Club des Amis du Monde (CAM)<\/a> team, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.riotinto.com\/\">Rio Tinto<\/a> En iRAP heeft een belangrijk initiatief uitgevoerd op de N1-weg in de Republiek Guinee: de evaluatie van de verkeersveiligheid voor inzittenden van voertuigen, fietsers en voetgangers, de evaluatie van de veiligheid rond scholen en de training van lokale teams in verkeersveiligheidsbeoordeling.<\/p>\n<p>Dit was de eerste sterrenclassificatie van de weginfrastructuur die werd uitgevoerd in <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2025\/05\/first-irap-project-kicks-off-in-guinea\/\">Guinea.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>De beoordeling werd uitgevoerd met behulp van iRAP.<a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/rap-tools\/infrastructure-ratings\/star-ratings\/\"> Sterbeoordelingen\u00a0<\/a>protocollen. Uit deze beoordeling bleek dat zowel het gedrag van gebruikers als het veiligheidsniveau van de weginfrastructuur zorgwekkend zijn en gezamenlijk bijdragen aan ongevallen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Guinea-image.png\" alt=\"Guinea image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>De snelheidsmetingen zijn zorgwekkend: in stedelijke gebieden is het motorverkeer namelijk zeer hoog, tot wel 851 ton per kilometer, en bovendien rijden motoren overal te hard, met extreem hoge pieksnelheden.<\/p>\n<p>De waargenomen risicofactoren omvatten, voor voertuigen en motorfietsen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overmatige snelheden<\/li>\n<li>Geen helm dragen<\/li>\n<li>Ernstige verwondingen opgelopen door motorrijders bij snelheden boven de 30 km\/u en 50 km\/u.<\/li>\n<li>Het hoge risico voor voetgangers bij een aanrijding met een voertuig dat met een snelheid van meer dan 30 km\/u rijdt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De weginfrastructuur vertoont ook een wisselend veiligheidsprofiel, wat zou moeten leiden tot voorzichtig gedrag van de weggebruikers: de meeste beoordeelde wegvakken vertonen namelijk een hoog ongevalsrisico, met name voor voetgangers, motorrijders en fietsers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Guinea-image-2.png\" alt=\"Guinea image 2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>De komende activiteiten voor CAM en Rio Tinto omvatten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lokale samenwerking met contactpersonen en monitoringcomit\u00e9s in alle projectprefecturen;<\/li>\n<li>Voorlichtings- en educatieve activiteiten op alle scholen langs de betreffende weg;<\/li>\n<li>Het vergroten van het bewustzijn onder weggebruikers, met name bestuurders van motortaxi&#039;s, vrachtwagens en voetgangers, over risicovol gedrag en de te respecteren verkeersregels;<\/li>\n<li>De plaatsing van informatieborden op cruciale punten langs de mijncorridor en drukke wegen in samenwerking met AGUISER;<\/li>\n<li>De training van 120 buurtmedewerkers die zich toeleggen op voortdurende bewustmaking in risicogebieden, met name rond scholen, markten en drukke kruispunten;<\/li>\n<li>Het organiseren van mobiele bewustwordingscampagnes (caravans, lokale radio, straatevenementen) om een breed publiek te bereiken en gedragsverandering te bevorderen;<\/li>\n<li>Samenwerking met transportvakbonden en contactpersonen in de projectgebieden en alle plaatsen die door de corridor worden doorkruist, voor een effectieve verspreiding van preventieboodschappen;<\/li>\n<li>Het opzetten van een informatiesysteem voor de gemeenschap (suggestieboxen, controlecommissies) om incidenten of storingen op de wegen te melden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>CAM en Rio Tinto Simfer herhalen hun waarschuwing aan alle gebruikers!
