{"id":5807,"date":"2025-08-24T17:54:57","date_gmt":"2025-08-24T07:54:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/mobility-snapshots-update-ngos-transforming-dangerous-realities-into-safe-people-centred-streets\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T15:04:53","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T05:04:53","slug":"mobility-snapshots-update-ngos-transforming-dangerous-realities-into-safe-people-centred-streets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/mobility-snapshots-update-ngos-transforming-dangerous-realities-into-safe-people-centred-streets\/","title":{"rendered":"Mobility Snapshots Update: NGO's transformeren gevaarlijke realiteiten in veilige, mensgerichte straten"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bijna 200 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/act-now\/mobility-snapshots\/\">Mobiliteitsfoto's<\/a> zijn ondernomen door NGO's in 79 landen, ge\u00efnformeerd door iRAP Sterbeoordelingen \u2013 wat bijdraagt aan het belichten van gevaarlijke kruispunten en eenvoudige oplossingen om de verkeersveiligheid te verbeteren.<\/p>\n<p>De <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/\">Wereldwijde Alliantie van NGO's voor Verkeersveiligheid<\/a> gelanceerd in mei 2024 het Mobility Snapshot-initiatief om NGO's te ondersteunen bij het verzamelen van eenvoudige, straatniveau gegevens die de gevaarlijke realiteit van de dagelijkse reizen van mensen en de bewezen oplossingen om deze veilig te maken vastleggen.<\/p>\n<p>NGO's in Afrika, Azi\u00eb, Australazi\u00eb, Europa, en Noord- en Zuid-Amerika hebben hun Mobility Snapshots gebruikt om bloot te leggen hoe voetgangers en fietsers vaak over het hoofd worden gezien bij het wegontwerp en om te pleiten voor de implementatie van specifieke interventies op hun gekozen kruispunt.<\/p>\n<p>Hun inspanningen hebben tot tastbare veranderingen geleid, zoals de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/events\/mobility-snapshot-story-social-media-based-advocacy-spurs-road-safety-improvements-in-addis-ababa\/\">installatie van zebrapaden en verkeersdrempels op een kruispunt in Addis Abeba, Ethiopi\u00eb<\/a>; de implementatie van een <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/events\/mobility-snapshot-story-advocacy-contributes-to-landmark-20-km-h-speed-limit-in-azerbaijan\/\">snelheidslimiet van 20 km\/u rond een school in Sumqayit, Azerbeidzjan<\/a>; wijdverbreid <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/featured\/improved-pedestrian-infrastructure-in-kampala-following-mobility-snapshots-advocacy\/\">veiligheidsverbeteringen in Kampala, Oeganda<\/a>; en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/events\/mobility-snapshots-a-safer-crossing-in-neuquen-argentina\/\">opgewaardeerde kruispunten in Neuqu\u00e9n, Argentini\u00eb<\/a>. Deze resultaten onderstrepen de effectiviteit van op data gebaseerde belangenbehartiging voor het realiseren van veiligere straten.<\/p>\n<p>De resultaten tot nu toe laten zien:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>80 Mobiliteitsfoto's<\/strong> in <strong>35 landen<\/strong> op kruispunten<\/li>\n<li>Meer dan <strong>83.000 voetgangers en 8.000 fietsers<\/strong> gebruik deze <strong>80 kruispunten<\/strong> tijdens het spitsuur<\/li>\n<li>Toch ontbreken belangrijke maatregelen om voetgangers en fietsers te beschermen in veel:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>46 ontbrak een\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/toolkit\/priority-interventions\/30-km-h-zones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">snelheidslimiet van 30 km\/u<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>of lager<\/li>\n<li><strong>40 miste\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/toolkit\/priority-interventions\/traffic-calming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">verkeersremming<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>om voertuigsnelheden te verminderen <strong>rondom voetgangers en fietsers<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>60 ontbrak\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/toolkit\/priority-interventions\/traffic-calming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">verkeersremming<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0om voertuigsnelheden te verminderen <strong>rondom voetgangers<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Slechts 7 kruispunten hebben fietspaden<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>29 Momentopnamen werden beoordeeld door iRAP<\/strong> met behulp van het Sterbeoordelingssysteem<\/li>\n<li><strong>Het risico dat voetgangers overlijden of ernstig gewond raken, zou met 60% tot wel 99% kunnen worden verminderd<\/strong> door bewezen interventies te implementeren<\/li>\n<li>Sommige kruispunten zouden <strong>de implementatie van de aanbevelingen kost slechts 1.800 dollar<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>118 Mobiliteitssnapshots<\/strong> in <strong>44 landen<\/strong> op kruispunten<\/li>\n<li>Meer dan <strong>156.000 voetgangers <\/strong>gebruik deze <strong>118 kruispunten<\/strong> tijdens het spitsuur<\/li>\n<li>Toch ontbreken belangrijke maatregelen om voetgangers en fietsers te beschermen in veel:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>102 ontbrak een <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/toolkit\/priority-interventions\/30-km-h-zones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">snelheidslimiet van 30 km\/u<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>of lager<\/li>\n<li><strong>106 ontbrak <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/toolkit\/priority-interventions\/pedestrian-facilities\/\">bruikbare oversteekplaatsen voor voetgangers<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>op alle benen van de kruising<\/li>\n<li><strong>67 ontbrak <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/toolkit\/priority-interventions\/pedestrian-facilities\/\">bruikbare voetpaden <\/a><\/strong>op alle benen van de kruising<\/li>\n<li><strong> 102 miste <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/toolkit\/priority-interventions\/traffic-calming\/\">verkeersremming<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>om voertuigsnelheden te verminderen <strong>rondom voetgangers\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>55 foto's werden<\/strong> <strong>beoordeeld door iRAP <\/strong>met behulp van het Sterbeoordelingssysteem<\/li>\n<li><strong>Het risico dat voetgangers overlijden of ernstig gewond raken, zou met 60% tot wel 99% kunnen worden verminderd<\/strong> door bewezen interventies te implementeren<\/li>\n<li>Sommige kruispunten zouden <strong>de implementatie van de aanbevelingen kost slechts 1.000 tot 5.000 dollar<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/act-now\/mobility-snapshots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Snapshot-map-800.png\" alt=\"Snapshot map 800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/maphub.net\/Global_Alliance_NGOs\/mobility-snapshots-in-the-world\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bekijk de Mobiliteitskaarten<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/?s=mobility+snapshot&amp;submit=Search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lees succestories <\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/act-now\/mobility-snapshots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lees meer over Mobiliteitsmomenten<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"http:\/\/www.roadsafetyngos.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/MOBILITY-SNAPSHOTS-r7.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lees de publicatie Mobility Snapshots<\/a><\/p>\n<p>NGO's (Non-Gouvernementele Organisaties) spelen een cruciale rol bij het ondersteunen van de verkeersveiligheid wereldwijd en lokaal door hun werk om te informeren, pleiten voor, implementeren en partners en kansen te verbinden.
