{"id":5720,"date":"2025-07-02T23:00:05","date_gmt":"2025-07-02T13:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/new-expert-group-to-inform-the-safety-management-of-high-speed-high-quality-roads\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T15:03:41","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T05:03:41","slug":"new-expert-group-to-inform-the-safety-management-of-high-speed-high-quality-roads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/new-expert-group-to-inform-the-safety-management-of-high-speed-high-quality-roads\/","title":{"rendered":"Nieuwe expertgroep gaat adviseren over het veiligheidsbeheer van snelle, kwalitatief hoogwaardige wegen."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Er is een nieuwe internationale expertgroep voor hogesnelheidswegen van hoge kwaliteit opgericht om in te spelen op de veranderende behoeften en het onderzoek met betrekking tot de veiligheid van moderne hogesnelheidswegen en om de blijvende effectiviteit van de iRAP-methodologie voor het beoordelen en beheren ervan te waarborgen.<\/p>\n<p>Door de snelle wereldwijde uitbreiding van hoogwaardige snelwegen en autowegen groeit de behoefte aan het aanpassen en verfijnen van instrumenten voor de beoordeling van de verkeersveiligheid, zodat deze rekening houden met de unieke kenmerken en risico&#039;s die gepaard gaan met reizen op hoge snelheid.<\/p>\n<p>De High-Speed, High-Quality (HS-HQ) Roads Group brengt nationale wegbeheerders, academische instellingen en wereldwijde partners samen in een samenwerkingsgericht, op workshops gericht forum dat aan deze missie is gewijd.<\/p>\n<p>Een reeks expertsessies, die van april tot september plaatsvinden, zal belangrijke thema&#039;s met betrekking tot de verkeersveiligheid van HS-HQ behandelen, te beginnen met de iRAP-methodologie. Onderwerpen zijn onder meer snelheid en ongevalsrisico, infrastructuurontwerp met inzichten uit ITS en verbonden voertuigen, en strategie\u00ebn voor ongevalspreventie \u2013 zowel standaard als nieuwe. Latere sessies zullen ingaan op de veiligheid van zware voertuigen en kwetsbare weggebruikers. Het initiatief wordt afgesloten met een samenvatting van de bevindingen en vervolgstappen.<\/p>\n<p>De groep zal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Onderzoek de toepassing van de iRAP-methodologie op HS-HQ-wegen;<\/li>\n<li>Identificeer prioritaire gebieden die onderzoek en bewijsvergaring vereisen;<\/li>\n<li>Aanbevelingen ontwikkelen voor het Global Technical Committee (GTC) van iRAP om methodologische updates te onderbouwen; en<\/li>\n<li>Zorg ervoor dat de veiligheidsbeoordeling, de interventieplanning en de prestatiebewaking de operationele realiteit en de technische normen van deze wegen weerspiegelen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/HSHQ-meeting-outline.png\" alt=\"HSHQ meeting outline\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&quot;Deze groep vertegenwoordigt een proactieve stap voorwaarts in de wereldwijde inspanningen voor verkeersveiligheid&quot;, aldus James Bradford, Global Technical Director van iRAP. &quot;Door ons te richten op de specifieke omstandigheden en mogelijkheden van snelle, kwalitatief hoogwaardige wegen, willen we de voortdurende ontwikkeling van de iRAP-methodologie en -instrumenten ondersteunen, gebaseerd op het nieuwste onderzoek, de ervaringen in de sector en de beste praktijken.
