{"id":5720,"date":"2025-07-02T23:00:05","date_gmt":"2025-07-02T13:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/new-expert-group-to-inform-the-safety-management-of-high-speed-high-quality-roads\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T15:03:41","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T05:03:41","slug":"new-expert-group-to-inform-the-safety-management-of-high-speed-high-quality-roads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/new-expert-group-to-inform-the-safety-management-of-high-speed-high-quality-roads\/","title":{"rendered":"Nieuwe Expertgroep moet Veiligheidsbeheer van Hoge-Snelheids, Hoge-Kwaliteit Wegen Informeren"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Een nieuwe internationale Expertgroep voor Hoge-Snelheids, Hoge-Kwaliteit Wegen is opgericht om tegemoet te komen aan de veranderende behoeften en het onderzoek met betrekking tot de veiligheid van moderne, hogesnelheidsweginfrastructuur en om de voortdurende effectiviteit van de iRAP-methodologie voor het beoordelen en informeren van hun beheer te waarborgen.<\/p>\n<p>Met de snelle wereldwijde uitbreiding van snelwegen en autosnelwegen van hoge kwaliteit, groeit de behoefte om de instrumenten voor de beoordeling van de verkeersveiligheid aan te passen en te verfijnen om de unieke kenmerken en risico's van reizen met hoge snelheid te weerspiegelen.<\/p>\n<p>De High-Speed, High-Quality (HS-HQ) Roads Group brengt nationale wegenautoriteiten, academische instellingen en wereldwijde partners samen in een collaboratief, workshopgericht forum dat zich toelegt op deze missie.<\/p>\n<p>Een reeks expertsessies van april tot september zal belangrijke thema's onderzoeken die relevant zijn voor de verkeersveiligheid van HS-HQ-wegen, beginnend met de iRAP-methodologie. Onderwerpen zijn onder meer snelheid en crashrisico, infrastructuurontwerp met inzichten uit ITS en connected vehicles, en strategie\u00ebn voor ongevalspreventie \u2013 zowel standaard als opkomend. Latere sessies zullen de veiligheid van zware voertuigen en kwetsbare weggebruikers behandelen. Het initiatief wordt afgesloten met een synthese van de bevindingen en de volgende stappen voor actie.<\/p>\n<p>De groep zal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Onderzoek de toepassing van de iRAP-methodologie op HS-HQ-wegen;<\/li>\n<li>Identificeer prioritaire gebieden die onderzoek en kennisvergaring vereisen;<\/li>\n<li>Ontwikkel aanbevelingen voor het Global Technical Committee (GTC) van iRAP om methodologische updates te informeren; en<\/li>\n<li>Zorg ervoor dat veiligheidsbeoordeling, interventieplanning en prestatietracking de operationele realiteiten en technische normen van deze wegen weerspiegelen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/HSHQ-meeting-outline.png\" alt=\"HSHQ meeting outline\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDeze groep vertegenwoordigt een proactieve stap voorwaarts in de mondiale inspanning voor verkeersveiligheid\u201d, aldus James Bradford, Global Technical Director van iRAP. \u201cDoor ons te richten op de specifieke omstandigheden en kansen van hogesnelheids-, kwalitatief hoogstaande wegen, willen we de voortdurende evolutie van de iRAP-methodologie en -hulpmiddelen ondersteunen, ge\u00efnformeerd door het nieuwste onderzoek, de ervaring uit de sector en de beste praktijken.
