In addition, a second review meeting was held with the European Commission at the offices of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polisnetwork.eu\/\">POLIS Network<\/a>\u00a0in Brussels.<\/p>\n<p>De door de EU gefinancierde\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/phoebe-project.eu\/\">\u2018Project &#039;Voorspellende benaderingen voor een veiligere stedelijke omgeving&#039; (PHOEBE)<\/a>\u00a0Het project heeft als doel de verkeersveiligheid van kwetsbare weggebruikers te vergroten, met name diegenen die gebruikmaken van actieve mobiliteitshulpmiddelen en elektrische scooters. Het bouwt voort op de sterke punten van de verkeersveiligheidsbeoordelingsinstrumenten van iRAP en de simulatie- en kunstmatige intelligentietechnologie van AIMSUN om geharmoniseerde, ge\u00efntegreerde en toonaangevende instrumenten voor veiligheidsvoorspellingen te leveren die rekening houden met geslacht, leeftijd en vaardigheidsniveau bij het ontwerpen van toekomstige mobiliteitsoplossingen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was discussed?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although PHOEBE cannot disclose any sensitive deliverables from \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/phoebe-project.eu\/phoebe-theory\/\">Work Package 3<\/a>\u2019, its finalisation marked a significant milestone towards the project\u2019s conclusion. High-level summaries of the results will be published on the <a href=\"https:\/\/phoebe-project.eu\/\">PHOEBE website<\/a> in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Internal discussions focused on the division of tasks within Work Package 5: \u2018systems integration and transferability\u2019. This package will synthesise the data collection, analyses, tests, and other outputs from the previous work packages, by consolidating and meaningfully combining the acquired knowledge. This capstone task will culminate in a set of recommendations to be presented at the end of the project.<\/p>\n<p>Further planning also took place for forthcoming communication activities and potential future collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tudelft.nl\/\">EU-cluster voor verkeersveiligheid<\/a>.
