Elke momentopname beoordeelt een kruispunt door het aantal voetgangers te tellen dat er gebruik van maakt, en of eenvoudige maar levensreddende maatregelen zoals snelheidslimieten van 30 km\/u, voetgangersovergangen en voetpaden, en snelheidsremmende maatregelen aanwezig zijn of ontbreken.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In totaal maakten 156.000 voetgangers tijdens de spits gebruik van deze 118 kruispunten, maar op veel plaatsen ontbreken belangrijke maatregelen om voetgangers te beschermen:<\/li>\n<li>Op weg 102 gold geen snelheidslimiet van 30 km\/u of lager;<\/li>\n<li>Bij kruising 106 ontbraken bruikbare voetgangersovergangen op alle zijden van het kruispunt;<\/li>\n<li>Bij punt 67 ontbraken bruikbare voetpaden op alle zijden van het kruispunt;<\/li>\n<li>Op de 102 ontbraken verkeersremmende maatregelen om de snelheid van voertuigen rond voetgangers te verlagen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De Mobility Snapshots maakt gebruik van de iRAP Star Rating-methodologie om snapshots te cre\u00ebren \u2013 afbeeldingen en korte videoclips die echte woon-werkverkeer op risicovolle kruispunten in verschillende steden over de hele wereld laten zien. Met behulp van iRAP's Star Rating-model leggen de afbeeldingen de veiligheid van de wegomgeving vast, met bijzondere nadruk op de toegang voor voetgangers en het gebruik daarvan.<\/p>\n<p>De gegevens onthullen zorgwekkende hiaten in voetgangersvriendelijke infrastructuur en wetten die levens redden.<\/p>\n<p>De Alliantie en haar partners roepen regeringen op om te luisteren naar de bevindingen en oplossingen van ngo&#039;s op basis van hun Mobiliteitsanalyses.
