De Nederlandse Fietsambassade<\/a> onlangs ge\u00efnterviewd Roxy Tacq, een expert op het gebied van stedelijke mobiliteit en fietsveiligheid, over de toepassing en impact van CycleRAP.<\/p>\n

Tijdens het interview legde Roxy Tacq, die onafhankelijke consultancy diensten aanbiedt op deze gebieden, uit hoe door middel van CycleRAP, beelden van fietspaden over de hele wereld kunnen worden beoordeeld door experts op basis van een reeks criteria om een veiligheidsscore en rapport te genereren. Dit kan overheden en organisaties vervolgens helpen risico's te begrijpen en kosteneffectieve maatregelen te identificeren om ongevallen te voorkomen en de veiligheid van fietsers te verbeteren. \u00a0<\/p>\n

De discussie belichtte ook het aanpassingsvermogen van CycleRAP aan moderne stedelijke uitdagingen, zoals het toenemende volume en de diversiteit van fiets- en micromobiliteitsverkeer. Roxy deelde haar ervaringen met het gebruik van CycleRAP voor diverse projecten, waarbij ze de rol ervan benadrukte bij het beoordelen van bestaande infrastructuur en bij het informeren van het ontwerp van nieuwe, veiligere fietsfaciliteiten.<\/p>\n

Het interview onderzocht hoe de evidence-based aanpak van CycleRAP een krachtig middel voor belangenbehartiging kan zijn, waardoor belanghebbenden een sterkere zaak kunnen maken voor investeringen in fietsveiligheid.
