Het bouwt voort op de sterke punten van iRAP's beoordelingstools voor verkeersveiligheid en de simulatie- en kunstmatige intelligentie van AIMSUN om geharmoniseerde, ge\u00efntegreerde en toonaangevende hulpmiddelen voor veiligheidsvoorspelling te leveren die rekening houden met geslacht, leeftijd en vaardigheidsniveaus bij de voorbereiding op toekomstige mobiliteit.<\/p>\n<p>Blijf op de hoogte van het laatste nieuws:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Innovaties op het gebied van verkeersveiligheid in complexe omgevingen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/EU-Road-Safety-Cluster3.png\" alt=\"EU-Road-Safety-Cluster3\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Voetgangers, fietsers en andere kwetsbare weggebruikers worden geconfronteerd met complexe verkeersveiligheidsuitdagingen tijdens hun dagelijkse ritten. Het eerste webinar van <a href=\"https:\/\/phoebe-project.eu\/eu-road-safety-cluster\/\">EU Verkeersveiligheidsklusten<\/a> De presentatie vond plaats in februari en werd bijgewoond door meer dan 90 belanghebbenden. Hoewel alle zes clusterprojecten hetzelfde doel hebben, namelijk het verminderen van verkeersongevallen en dodelijke slachtoffers, presenteerde elk project een ander aspect van innovatie op het gebied van verkeersveiligheid:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PHOEBE \u2013 het ontwikkelen van een ge\u00efntegreerd, dynamisch en mensgericht voorspellend raamwerk voor veiligheidsbeoordeling.<\/li>\n<li>SOTERIA \u2013 gebruikt innovatieve data-oplossingen om bijna-ongelukken en andere acties rond onveilige locaties te identificeren door gebruik te maken van data van voertuigen, mobiele telefoons en micromobiliteit.<\/li>\n<li>AI4CCAM \u2013 een holistische benadering van AI om autonoom rijden en de acceptatie ervan door gebruikers te beoordelen.<\/li>\n<li>HEIDI \u2013 verbetert de communicatie tussen voertuigen en kwetsbare weggebruikers, zoals fietsers of voetgangers, door informatie aan beide zijden van het voertuig (binnen en buiten) door te geven.<\/li>\n<li>FRODDO \u2013 het bevorderen van geautomatiseerde en verbonden mobiliteit door het ontwikkelen van veiligere, slimmere en meer aanpasbare transportsystemen met behulp van geavanceerde sensoren, AI en digitale tweeling-simulaties.<\/li>\n<li>EVENEMENTEN \u2013 gericht op uitdagingen die zich voordoen wanneer verbonden en geautomatiseerde voertuigen (CAV&#039;s) complexe situaties tegenkomen die hun normale werking kunnen verstoren, zoals dynamische verkeersveranderingen, extreme weersomstandigheden, sensorstoringen of ongestructureerde wegen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lees meer en bekijk de webinaropname. <a href=\"https:\/\/phoebe-project.eu\/summary-safety-cluster-webinar1\/\">hier.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recent onderzoek naar microsimulaties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/TRB_upload.png\" alt=\"TRB_upload\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>Shanna Lucchesi van iRAP, in het midden afgebeeld met haar partners.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Verkeersstroommodellen die worden gebruikt in verkeersmicrosimulatieplatformen houden doorgaans geen rekening met menselijke factoren, met name niet-conform gedrag. Hoewel de theoretische noodzaak voor de integratie van specifieke menselijke factoren in verkeersmicrosimulatie, vooral met het oog op veiligheidsbeoordeling, in eerdere studies is aangetoond, bestaat er geen systematische methodologie die empirisch kan worden getest voor een breed scala aan gedragingen. PHOEBE presenteerde in januari tijdens de jaarlijkse bijeenkomst van de Transport Research Board (TRB) in Washington DC, VS, de gezamenlijke onderzoeksinspanningen van TU Delft, AIMSUN, iRAP en The FLOOW met betrekking tot de integratie van menselijke factoren in verkeersmicrosimulatie. POLIS Network, FACTUAL en iRAP presenteerden de twee Spaanse pilotprojecten in Barcelona (JULIA) en Valencia (PHOEBE). Het doel van beide door de EU gefinancierde projecten is om de verkeersveiligheid voor fietsers en andere kwetsbare weggebruikers te verbeteren en actieve mobiliteit te stimuleren, om zo de doelstelling van het Europees Parlement te bereiken om &#039;\u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.polisnetwork.eu\/news\/eu-parliament-aims-to-double-cycling-by-2023\/\">verdubbelen van het aantal fietsen tegen 2030<\/a>\u2019&#039; en de doelstellingen bereiken die zijn vastgelegd in de <a href=\"https:\/\/transport.ec.europa.eu\/system\/files\/2023-11\/European_Declaration_on_Cycling_en_0.pdf\">Europese verklaring over fietsen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evaluatie van de effectiviteit van snelheidslimieten van 30 km\/u<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/pexels-loriana-erban-2149705794-30858936.jpg\" alt=\"pexels-loriana-erban-2149705794-30858936\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Projectpartner PHOEBE, de Nationale Technische Universiteit van Athene, heeft recente literatuur over snelheidslimietverlagingen naar 30 km\/u in stedelijke gebieden en de bijbehorende beleidsmaatregelen van verschillende Europese steden geanalyseerd. Uit onderzoek blijkt dat een snelheidslimietverlaging naar 30 km\/u de veiligheid aanzienlijk verbetert. De overlevingskans van een voetganger bij een ongeval met deze snelheid stijgt tot 901 TP8T, vergeleken met minder dan 501 TP8T bij 50 km\/u. De studie evalueert de brede impact van de invoering van een snelheidslimiet van 30 km\/u in stedelijke gebieden, waarbij aandacht wordt besteed aan veiligheid, milieu, energie, verkeer en gezondheid. Het bewijsmateriaal wijst op een vermindering van het aantal dodelijke slachtoffers met 401 TP8T, naast lagere emissies, een lager energieverbruik en een betere volksgezondheid door meer wandelen en fietsen.
