{"id":5332,"date":"2025-02-17T20:30:12","date_gmt":"2025-02-17T09:30:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/irap-announces-2024-gary-liddle-memorial-trophy-winners\/"},"modified":"2026-05-05T11:31:51","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T01:31:51","slug":"irap-announces-2024-gary-liddle-memorial-trophy-winners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/irap-announces-2024-gary-liddle-memorial-trophy-winners\/","title":{"rendered":"iRAP maakt de winnaars van de Gary Liddle Memorial Trophy 2024 bekend."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/\">iRAP<\/a>\u00a0heeft vandaag in Marrakech met trots de winnaar en finalisten bekendgemaakt van de 2024 iRAP Gary Liddle Memorial Trophy, die wordt uitgereikt aan de best presterende wegbeheerder ter wereld op het gebied van het elimineren van wegen met een hoog risico.<\/p>\n<p>Gepresenteerd tijdens de <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2025\/01\/mark-your-diaries-ten-steps-to-2030-for-safer-road-infrastructure-event-marrakech\/\"><em>Tien stappen naar 2030 voor een veiligere weginfrastructuur (nevenevenement)<\/em><\/a> van de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetymorocco.com\/\">4e wereldwijde ministeri\u00eble conferentie over verkeersveiligheid<\/a>, De permanente iRAP-trofee eert de levenslange bijdrage van de voormalige bestuursvoorzitter van de liefdadigheidsinstelling aan de publieke sector en het transportwezen. <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2023\/03\/vale-gary-liddle-ao\/\">Gary Liddle AO<\/a> die in 2023 is overleden.<\/p>\n<p>De winnaars werden geselecteerd uit 12 zeer competitieve inzendingen uit 11 landen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tanroads.go.tz\/\">Tanzaniaanse Nationale Wegenautoriteit (TANROADS)<\/a>\u00a0won de prestigieuze prijs als winnaar van dit jaar. Tanzania was het eerste land ter wereld dat de innovatieve methode toepaste. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gtkp.com\/themepage.php&amp;themepgid=500\">Tienstappenplan voor een veiligere wegeninfrastructuur<\/a> TANROADS heeft met succes het aantal verkeersslachtoffers teruggedrongen door risicovolle routes voor alle weggebruikers in het hele land te elimineren. Het programma van TANROADS demonstreert de innovatieve, wereldprimeur van de implementatie van het gezamenlijke tienstappenplan voor een veiligere weginfrastructuur, een samenwerkingsaanpak met meerdere partners. De effectiviteit en overdraagbaarheid ervan blijken vandaag de dag uit de resultaten van TANROADS en de vraag naar deze aanpak vanuit andere landen in de regio.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>De prijs wordt namens TANROADS in ontvangst genomen door Zijne Excellentie\u00a0<strong>De heer Abdallah Hamis Ulega, minister van Openbare Werken in Tanzania<\/strong>\u00a0Hij zei: &quot;We zijn erg trots dat we de iRAP Gary Liddle Memorial Trophy mogen ontvangen als erkenning voor het werk van TANROADS op het gebied van veiligere wegen, beleid en infrastructuurverbeteringen om het aantal verkeersslachtoffers in ons land te verminderen. Tanzania was het eerste land ter wereld dat het tienstappenplan van de United Nations Road Safety Collaboration (UNRSC) voor een veiligere wegeninfrastructuur heeft toegepast.
