Veiligheid is een onmisbare waarde die al onze keuzes en investeringen stuurt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Aleatica, waarvan A35 Brebemi deel uitmaakt, heeft dit verkregen <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2024\/11\/aleatica-signs-saferroadspledge-and-achieves-irap-certification-for-8-of-its-concessions-in-europe-and-latin-america\/\">certificering voor 8 concessies in 4 landen (Itali\u00eb, Mexico, Chili en Spanje)<\/a>, waarmee het zijn pioniersrol versterkt bij het bevorderen van veilige en duurzame infrastructuur in Europa en Latijns-Amerika.<\/p>\n<p>David Diaz, Global CEO van Aleatica, gaf commentaar: \u201cVeiligheid op onze wegen is onze topprioriteit terwijl we ernaar streven bij te dragen aan de vermindering van dodelijke slachtoffers en ernstige verwondingen, in lijn met de Duurzame Ontwikkelingsdoelen (SDG\u2019s) van de Verenigde Naties. Vandaag kunnen we met trots zeggen dat 8 van onze concessies zijn gecertificeerd met drie sterren of meer, met A25 Brebemi als een 4-sterren vlaggenschip, waarmee we het eerste bedrijf in de sector zijn dat deze certificering behaalt voor meerdere activa in verschillende landen. Dit motiveert ons om te blijven werken aan het waarborgen dat ten minste 75 procent van Aleatica\u2019s infrastructuur in 2030 drie sterren of hoger behaalt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2024\/05\/700000-lives-deaths-and-serious-injuries-saved-john-hopkins-report\/\">Een onafhankelijke studie van Johns Hopkins University<\/a> benadrukte de positieve impact van veiligere wegverbeteringen op basis van de iRAP-methodologie, waarbij ongeveer 700.000 levens werden gered en ernstige verwondingen werden voorkomen door projecten van iRAP-partners van 2016 tot 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Rob McInerney, CEO van iRAP, zei: \u201cTragisch genoeg komen er dagelijks meer dan 3.200 mensen om het leven op de weg. Verkeersongevallen zijn de belangrijkste doodsoorzaak onder jongeren. We weten dat infrastructuur op de weg met 3 sterren of meer levens redt en verwondingen voorkomt, maar helaas voldoet minder dan de helft van de wereldwijd beoordeelde wegen aan deze norm.
