Elke verbetering in de wegbeoordeling \u2013 bijvoorbeeld van 1 naar 2 sterren \u2013 kan het aantal dodelijke slachtoffers met wel 50 procent verminderen.<\/p>\n<p>Infrastructuur die 3 sterren of meer behaalt, zoals de A35 Brebemi met 4 sterren, is aanzienlijk veiliger en draagt bij aan het redden van levens.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Brebemi-A35-certification.png\" alt=\"Brebemi A35 certification\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201c&quot;Het is een grote bron van trots en verantwoordelijkheid om als eerste snelweg in Itali\u00eb deze certificering te behalen&quot;, aldus Matteo Milanesi, algemeen directeur van A35 Brebemi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201d&quot;Deze belangrijke erkenning bevestigt onze inzet om steeds hogere veiligheidsnormen te garanderen, waarmee we levens redden en ernstige ongelukken voorkomen. Veiligheid is een onmisbare waarde die leidend is bij al onze keuzes en investeringen.&quot;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Aleatica, waarvan A35 Brebemi deel uitmaakt, heeft dit verkregen. <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2024\/11\/aleatica-signs-saferroadspledge-and-achieves-irap-certification-for-8-of-its-concessions-in-europe-and-latin-america\/\">Certificering voor 8 concessies in 4 landen (Itali\u00eb, Mexico, Chili en Spanje).<\/a>, waarmee het zijn pioniersrol in het bevorderen van veilige en duurzame infrastructuur in Europa en Latijns-Amerika verder verstevigt.<\/p>\n<p>David Diaz, Global CEO van Aleatica, gaf de volgende reactie: &quot;Veiligheid op onze wegen is onze topprioriteit. Dit motiveert ons om te blijven werken aan het behalen van een certificering van ten minste 75 procent van de infrastructuur van Aleatica met drie sterren of meer in 2030.&quot;\u201c<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2024\/05\/700000-lives-deaths-and-serious-injuries-saved-john-hopkins-report\/\">Een onafhankelijk onderzoek van de Johns Hopkins Universiteit.<\/a> De positieve impact van veiligere wegverbeteringen, gebaseerd op de iRAP-methodologie, werd benadrukt.
