Prioriteit geven aan veiligheid is cruciaal. De iRAP-methodologie biedt ons een wereldwijd erkende en objectieve maatstaf voor het niveau van veiligheid dat &#039;ingebouwd&#039; is in onze weginfrastructuur.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Om een beter inzicht te krijgen in de sterrenclassificatiemethodologie en de toepassing ervan in de context van tolwegen, heeft de groep iRAP om hulp gevraagd.<\/p>\n<p>Julio Urzua, Global Projects Director van iRAP, en Shanna Lucchesi, Project Coordinator, gaven een tweedaagse training aan CCR-teamleden van verschillende afdelingen, waaronder vertegenwoordigers die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de planning, het ontwerp en het onderhoud van de weginfrastructuur van de groep.<\/p>\n<p>De training behandelde de essenti\u00eble aspecten van iRAP-sterrenbeoordelingen, investeringsplannen voor veiligere wegen en prestatiebewaking.<\/p>\n<p>De deelnemers kregen ook de gelegenheid om de beste praktijkvoorbeelden (KPI&#039;s) voor concessies te onderzoeken, evenals de voordelen van het gebruik van Star Rating for Designs (SR4D) en de Route Review Tool (RRT) om de doelstelling van 4 sterren of hoger te behalen.<\/p>\n<p>Julio Urzua, directeur strategische projecten van iRAP, zei: &quot;De visie van iRAP is een wereld zonder risicovolle wegen, en in dat opzicht spelen de concessiehouders van de wegen een cruciale rol in het bieden van een veilige infrastructuur aan alle weggebruikers.
